The secret eggs have been a recurring collectible during each chapter of Delta rune and are among the easiest things to miss during a playthrough. These items are completely optional, and unless you know where to look, you're unlikely to stumble across them naturally.
There are also trophies that become unavailable if players collect certain eggs, making their true purpose even more mysterious. The guide below goes over how to find the egg in Chapter 5.

Deltarune: How To Find All Egg Rooms
Can't find all the eggs in Deltarune? Here's a complete guide on each egg room location and how to get them.
How to get the secret egg in Deltarune chapter 5
Play through the chapter until you get Petal featheruse it to interact with the mysterious structures and enter the Cliffs area. After reaching the shop that sells some items, head right to find a wheat field containing some enemies that you can recruit.
Once you've dealt with them, go through the Torii Gate. During this sequence, you must avoid the projectiles fired by the flying enemy until you safely reach the other side. Your next objective is to repeatedly travel back and forth through the Torii gates while destroying every piece of wheat in the area.
After clearing all the wheat, a single block of wheat appears. Keep destroying this block several times until a balloon appears and starts moving to the left. Follow the balloon to enter a new room where you'll find a dog attached to a balloon.
The dog will fly around and indicate the flowers that need to be interacted with. Follow the exact order shown by the dog, and once you've completed the sequence, a watering can will appear in the middle of the room. Use it to create a path on the left side.
Following this route will take you to the tree room where you can find the mysterious man standing behind the tree. Talk to him to receive Eggand when you've exhausted all of his dialogue, you can leave the room with the Chapter 5 secret collectible.
