Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is the sequel that fans were hoping for, and the game exceeded all expectations of becoming one of the biggest open world games of all time. Impressively it improved almost all aspects of the original, but still there are some things like the first Kingdom Come: Deliverance did better.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance: 2 – 8 Put the sequel is better than the original
Discover how Kingdom Come: Deliverance Two beats the original with improved games, refined battle, open world and engrossing features.
The original medieval bohemian experience is a good game in itself and really lays the foundation for the sequel's global success. Often, things like KCD did better than KCD2 Is not wrong in the sequel, but rather awards of the first or small missing features.

The iconic loading screen
Charles IV, king of Bohemia and the Holy Roman Emperor, had a long and successful reign …
While the sequel has the superior main meno screen with different live environments that appear depending on Henry's location, there is nothing like uploading the original Kingdom Come: Deliverance. To hear 'Charles IV, king of Bohemia and the Holy Roman Empire, had a long and successful reign …' never gets old, and the medieval manuscripts are just the glaze on the cake.
Although this is a small part of the game, the rush of nostalgia just feels fantastic. In some ways it would have been nice to see in KCD2But when the monologue is done with “This is where my story begins …” it would not have fit halfway through Henry's story.

Church interiors
Beautiful and much missing from the sequel
The elephant in the room when it comes to things KCD did better than KCD2 are the church's interiors, since the sequel hardly has anyone. In the first game, players can come into all the church they see, and they are all beautifully decorated, which causes players to walk around the wonder or go to church as part of a role -playing experience.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 – best armor
This guide will give players the best options for each armor layer in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
Unfortunately, Warhorse Studios did not have time to make the Church's interiors KCD2Although there are some chapters, for example at the top of Troky Castle, and Mystery Ecclesia DLC allows players to explore the entire Sedletz monastery.

The monastery
There is nothing like following a strict monk's schedule and sneaking around at night
A needle in a haystack is one of the more sharing assignments in KCDWith some players frustrated about having to live a monk's life, while many fans see this as the top experience. Without going into spoilers, Henry must follow a strict schedule for a number of days at the Sasau monastery, but when he is there on assignment he has to sneak around at night to discover the truth.
While a direct repetition of this in the sequel had not been a good idea, it could have been fun to experience another aspect of medieval life with a strict schedule. This would have worked best in a side mission, so that it is optional for those who do not like such assignments.

Hunting assignments and hunting permits
Henry cannot legally chase in the sequel
Hunting is better in KCD2With more realistic animals, elbows and even wolves for extra danger. But there are no assignments where Henry is hunting, and the only one who comes close sees Henry trying to catch the crampen. This raises another problem, as hunting is banned, which means that players who make a morally good playthrough will not want to hunt, and if they do, they can only sell the game to the fence.
In the first KCDBut there are plenty of hunting assignments, including a mission line where Henry can become the master hunter and get a permit for hunting.

Henry has met us and places to call home
Henry was never too far from home in KCD
Since the first game took place in Henry's home region, and his colleague Skalitz refugees could be found on Rattay or other places, the game had a more homely feeling. Best of all was everyone who said “Henry has come to see us”, one of many iconic lines from the series, which unfortunately could not be said as much in the sequel because Henry was a stranger in Trosky and Kuttenberg.
Early on KCDHenry gets a bed in the Rattay factory with Theresa, and while he can sleep in other places, this bed will always feel at home, especially about Henry romance Theresa. His true home in Skalitz is never far away, even though he was burned down, and while the sequel is better overall, no place can ever catch the secret of the first game. This is partly due to KCD2 With two maps, but even then Henry is never bound to a place for better or worse.

Mercy kills
Players could finish submerged enemies with unique animations
Under fight Kingdom Come: DeliveranceEnemies had a little chance of falling on the ground as if they were bleeding out or almost dead. Players could then hold the Mercy Kill button, and a unique animation to end them would play, with variations for different weapons.
Best of all was Longsword Mercy Kill, with Henry who seized the sword in both hands and brought down the point in a honest way. Unfortunately this is one of KCD Features missing in KCD2Although there are more animations to end enemies in the middle of the fight.
2
Theresa Romance & Post-Romance Content
Romance is more meaningful in the first game and some players miss Theresa
There are many more romantical options in KCD2But after characters explain their feelings and do the deed, there is not much content, and they can act as strangers for Henry. In the first game, but when the Henry romans Theresa, they can become a proper couple, and everything feels more meaningful.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 – How to Romance Characters
This Romance Guide for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will explain how romance works and gives tips for Henry's love assignment.
The couple of love birds can go for walks together, talk and through A woman's party DLC, Theresa can tell Henry about her experience of surviving the raid at Skalitz. Some players simply missed her in the sequel, because she is such a large and important character.

Learn to read
Henry could already read in the second game
Via Mightier Than The Sword Quest, Henry can learn to read in the first Kingdom Come: Deliverance game. For starters, Henry will see all the letters, and players must try to know them and recite the right lines. This is a unique experience in Open-World RPG and both fun and engrossing.
Unfortunately, as Henry can already read at the beginning of KCD2The function could not be repeated, which means that players who only experience the sequel miss this mechanic.
