Choosing the best skills within ARC Raiders is critical to ensuring your raider is constantly improving on the battlefield, whether it's in PvE, PvP, or general survivability. As you've already noticed, players will need to invest a certain number of skill points into a tree to unlock the next level of skills it has to offer. It's a big commitment, and this guide will share one of the best skill tree progression paths you can take if you're just starting out, or maybe after an expedition cleanup.
ARC Raiders: Best skills to unlock first
Here are some of the best skills in ARC Raiders that players should unlock first. These include some character stat upgrades and new abilities.
Best Skill Tree Progression Path in ARC Raiders (Non-PvP)
There are three main skill trees in the ARC Raiders: Conditioning, mobility and survival. The total skill points you can accumulate ARC Raiders (excluding the Expedition bonus) is 75, forcing players to invest in limited skills.
Each has a specific set of skills that will constantly improve your raider for the dangers lurking in the Rust Belt. Here's my two cents on it what type of skills populate each skill tree in the game.
- Conditioning: Contains mostly PvP focused skills that will improve your chances of surviving an encounter with an enemy raider.
- Mobility: Skills focused on improving your player's stamina on the battlefield, aiming to improve crossing ability and stamina.
- Survival: Purely loot based skills that will improve your raider's ability to sneak into locations, loot and carry the maximum amount of items to bring back to Speranza.
Here's the best skill tree progression path you can try to cover all bases, if you're mostly into PvE and aim to loot the maximum amount of stuff on the battlefield.

Well, this is one of the best skill tree progression paths you can take ARC Raiders if you want to be stealthy and profitable, while being quick on your feet. If you are wondering why me decided to go for the security breach skill despite its recent nerf, that's because safes still give you tons of epic rarities during events like Night Raid or Electromagnetic Storms.
