Best characters in The Egghead Arc

The Egghead arc marked the beginning of the final saga of One Pieceand now, about 2 years later, this arc has officially ended. Egghead was a setup arc for what's to come in the Final Saga, and it's safe to say it blew fans' expectations out of the water by delivering far more than anyone could have ever imagined.

Egghead introduced fans to some of the most exciting characters, delivered emphatic battles, and more than that, revealed some of the world's greatest secrets. Of course, all of this was only made possible by select characters who were compelling in this arc and made it as exciting as it was.

7 Kizaru

Kizaru was a surprise addition to the Egghead arc One Piece. He was sent to the island to kill Vegapunk, and it's safe to say that he accomplished his task successfully, despite facing obstacles in the form of Luffy and the Strawhat Pirates.

Although Kizaru lost his fight against Luffy, his goal of killing Vegapunk was still fulfilled. But fans got to see the inner turmoil Kizaru faced, as Vegapunk was his best friend. After all, he did not abandon his sense of justice and did what he was told, even if it meant giving up his best friend's life.

6 The five elders

• Egghead Role: To kill Vegapunk and stop the message

The Five Elders were the main antagonists of the Egghead Arc, and it's safe to say they shocked all readers equally. Their demonic powers and cruel nature were first revealed to fans in the Egghead arc. Through The Five Elders, Oda gave fans a glimpse of what the Final Saga has to offer further down the line, and it's safe to say that readers absolutely cannot wait to see when they reappear in the story and serve the role of Major. antagonists.

Everything about them, from their cruelty, all the way to demonic and impressive powers made them great antagonists.

5 Garp

Although Garp was not physically present on Egghead, this arc was incredibly important to him. Garp went to Pirate Island in the Egghead Island Arc of One Piece and decided to save Koby. He put on a real show at Egghead, similar to what Whitebeard did in the Paramount War.

Fans got a proper glimpse of his strength, and his gut-wrenching duel with his beloved student, Kuzan, was also very exciting. In the end, he fell for Egghead, but not before successfully completing his mission to save Koby.

Dr. Vegapunk was always going to be a star of the show in Egghead, and he certainly managed to be just that.

Fans found out quite a bit about Vegapunk and his genius in this arc. Even his connection to individuals like Kuma, and his hope for the future through characters like Luffy, shone brightly in this arc. Unfortunately, Stella, the main Vegapunk body, died in Egghead, but he lives on through Lilith, York and Edison.

3 Luffy

• Egghead Role: Protecting Vegapunk and fighting the fleet

Of course, the main character of the series, Luffy, was always going to be important in Egghead and Oda made it so that he was one of the very best characters in this arc. Luffy did what he did best.

He fought with a smile on his face and saved people around him. Ultimately, it is because of Luffy and the Strawhat Pirates that Vegapunk is currently alive in some capacity and he is responsible for saving both Kuma and Bonney as well.

2 Jewelry Bonney

A worst generation pirate

• Egghead Role: Saving and Avenging Kuma

Without a doubt, Jewelry Bonney was one of the stars of the show in Egghead, and fans were deeply invested in her story, as Oda revealed in this particular arc.

Bonney showed incredible courage in this episode of the story and along with that, her powers were exciting for fans to witness as well. Bonney will continue to play a big role in the upcoming arcs of One Piece, and fans can't wait to see more of her.

1 Bartholomew Kuma

• Egghead Role: Saving Jewelry Bonney

The most exciting and important character in the Egghead Island arc of One Piece was undoubtedly Bartholomew Kuma. Kuma's entire history was revealed to fans in this arc, and it's safe to say that he rose to the status of one of One Piece's greatest characters ever within a couple of chapters.

Kuma's story was one based on suffering, perseverance and of course keeping a smile and hope for a better world. His relationship with Bonney was a silver lining in this dark and depressing arc, and in the end, Kuma did indeed and rightfully survive the ordeal and is currently on his way to Elbaf.
