Fans had been asking for a remake of Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag for a long time, as it is one of the most popular entries in the series to date. Knight said: “The Anvil engine at the heart of Shadows is at the heart of Black flag resynced too, giving us access to everything from Raytracing and RTGI to better audio, dynamic weather, destructible objects and more. And especially for Black flag resyncedAnvil's aquatic engineering team has been a critical part of the experience to give us the best marine experience yet.” It was clear from the first trailer that Black flag resynced would be a visually stunning game, but hearing how the new engine helps improve naval combat is the best possible news. That is the defining characteristic of the original Black flagand if Ubisoft can improve on that with the remake, then fans are in for a treat.
That's not to mention the obvious visual upgrade that the Anvil engine represents. Assassin's Creed Shadows is among the games with the best graphics right now. Even among those who weren't the biggest fans of the game, its graphics are undeniable. With the vibrant colors of the Caribbean and its islands, Assassin's Creed Black Flag resync will be a visual feast.
