Updated by Rei Penber on October 12, 2024: All Might and All For One are longtime enemies. Since All Might had lost his powers, no one could have expected him to stand up to such a powerful enemy All for one. All Might, with his new powerwill take on All For One, one last time in MHA Season 7 Episode 21.
The previous clashes between all for one and all
All Might and All For One are sworn enemies
All For One and All Might are no strangers when it comes to fighting each other. The two enjoy what is probably the greatest rivalry in the entire series. All For One and All Might have clashed on several occasions in the past and the two are known to be very important. All For One has never been able to defeat All Might, but his chance may finally be here. Both of these powerhouses clashed on two separate major occasions and All For One lost both matches despite being incredibly powerful.
The first fight they participated in happened years before the first chapter of My Hero Academia. In this fight, All For One proved to be a pretty formidable opponent for All Might, but the Symbol of Peace was at its peak then. For him, it wasn't that difficult to take down All For One. All Might managed to gather all his power and put an end to All For One during that fight. It is at this point that All For One lost a large part of its face. However, he did not go down without doing some damage to his archenemy. All For One also ended up dealing a huge blow to All Might and fans see that in the very first chapter of the series. All For One blew a hole in his torso, bursting his respiratory system and severely weakening him.
From that point on, All Might was paralyzed and his powers began to fade. While All For One was also greatly weakened, considering he was the one who lost the fight, he continued to grow in the shadows. Slowly he formulated a plan to get back to his best and even go beyond it. Fans then see his plan play out later in the story. Eventually, his plans lead him to once again confront All Might in Kamino. By this time, All Might had already given One For All to Deku. As such, he only had whispers of this power left in his body and was already severely weakened by the damage he sustained years ago.
Meanwhile, All For One had continued to strengthen himself by stealing more Quirks and trying more combinations. This fight proved to be much more difficult for All Might and it was obvious that he was struggling throughout it. Even at his full power, he was unable to pose much of a threat to All For One. Moreover, the latter himself confirmed that he was becoming slower and weaker and that in his prime he would have fared much better.
Nevertheless, the fight ended up in All Might's favor once again due to the stored power that he had within himself. Going beyond all his limits and unleashing everything he had within him, All Might managed to finish off All For One with a single blow, this time sending him to Tartarus hoping he had done the job for good. By doing so, All Might became the hero of the people, but at the same time it created an era of uncertainty as his powers completely faded and he no longer had it in him to be a hero. As such, the number one hero had to retire and someone else had to step in and fill his shoes.

My Hero Academia: Ochaco Uraraka's Quirk Awakening, Explained
Uraraka's Zero Gravity quirk has become nearly invincible with his awakening.
While fans expected All For One's threat to have subsided, he continued to plan ahead and when Tartarus was breached, All For One was released once again. Fans found out that he never stopped scheming to become the greatest threat in the entire world and that his plan was actually still active. He planned everything to gain more power and currently he wants to take over Shigaraki's body so he can complete himself and become the strongest and most despicable villain ever. To see this plan through, he even managed to reverse his age recently, thanks to his very close friend Dr. Kyudai.
All Might's current power
All can be transferred one by one to Deku
The recent events of My Hero Academia have almost confirmed that All For One has decreased in age and is now in his prime. In fact, he got even younger and is currently past his prime. His control over his quirk is greater than ever before and so is the threat he poses to society. No one can stand in his way and not even Endeavor or Hawks could do much to stop him. In fact, even the cooperation of every single hero on the battlefield wouldn't be enough to stop him. As such, fans don't expect All Might to be much of a challenge for him as well, especially now that he doesn't have his powers anymore. But to everyone's surprise, All Might returns to the battlefield for one last time despite having no quirk.
While everyone thinks he's going to die, he believes in himself and believes it's his job to finally put an end to All For One. He was seen in All For One's way a while ago and while fans haven't seen much of this fight since then, it's only a matter of time before Horikoshi focuses on it again. All Might is clearly not at his best or even close to it, but fans may be surprised by him in the upcoming fight. This is because he has some sort of hero gear with him that he apparently used earlier while All For One was in battle.
This hero gear looks like a suit that can help him power up further and take on the threat of All For One. Whether or not he will be able to pull off a win against All For One remains to be seen, however, fans should not play down the former number one hero. It could be possible that he has an ace up his sleeve to surprise All For One and at the same time, a hero who risks his life to save people with so much conviction really can't go down very easily.
The result of All For One Vs. All Might Round 3
Everyone may not be able to beat everyone for one
All Might versus All For One Round three will begin very soon and fans will be on the edge of their seats throughout it. Judging by the power levels of the two characters, a betting man would say that All For One will win this fight. It is very likely that he will win, but All Might will not go down without giving him a good fight. Strictly speaking, this fight could go down two ways and either would end well for All Might. Although a large part of the fans expect him to die, that definitely won't be the case as All Might is also fighting his battle against destiny. Fans know that Sir Nighteye saw his death years ago, but All Might is in a fight against fate itself, and with this conviction, he can surely change it with his own hands.
All Might will shock All For One when the two engage in battle, showing him why he was chosen as the eighth user of One For All. Even though he's not a Pro Hero anymore, he's still someone everyone can trust. At his core, he wants to be a hero again and for that reason, he will fight hard.
The first way this fight could go would be for All Might to somehow defeat All For One and later defeat Deku Shigaraki. This would eventually lead to the ending of the final war arc and Shigaraki being saved. The other way fans could see this fight going is if All For One defeats All Might and then takes over Shigaraki's body completely, which would then give Deku the perfect opportunity to rise as the greatest hero of all time and defeat the evil of All For a. While fans would enjoy this scenario, it would be much better to see All Might defeat All For One again with all of his power and newfound powers. In this way, both All For One and All Might will have a proper conclusion to their stories and that is certainly something that any fan of the series would appreciate.
