Ready to pick up dozens free games in june 2026? Well, get ready to be on your toes to make sure you don't miss any giveaways on Steam, Amazon Prime Gaming (aka Amazon Luna), Epic Games Store, Itch.ioand more. At any given moment, there should be an absurd number of free-to-hold PC games, including small indie releases and massive triple-A titles. On the console side, PlayStation owners can look forward PS Plus new gameswhile Xbox is constantly expanding Game Pass library.

Due to the sheer amount of freebies, along with many of them only lasting a couple of days, it can be quite exhausting to keep track of everything. Therefore, this article aims to simplify the process to ensure that you don't miss out on any free June games that you actually want.

I'm including PS Plus and Xbox Game Pass for completeness, and I'll add Nintendo Switch Online if they announce anything. They're not actually free, but it doesn't hurt to list them. EA Play and Ubisoft+ Premium not included.

A quirky 3D platformer driven by co-op, IQ under construction forces you and your friends to work as a unit by staying close together, a pretty interesting concept for a multiplayer game. The title doesn't have the best reviews on Steam, but it's still worth a try by any group looking for something different.

Moonrise autumn

Don't be put off by its 'positive' rating on Steam; Moonrise autumn is a great puzzle game with a unique art style and emphasis on atmosphere. Review-wise, 88% are positive reviews, and the lower-than-normal rating is due to the small sample size.

Operation86

A fairly well-regarded Indian racer, Drift86, stands out as a Steam free-to-keep game for the simple reason that it's not a completely unknown property with around 12 reviews. While not a big name by any means, the game has nearly 2K reviews, most of which are positive.

Epic Games Store Giveaways

Calico

Epic Games Store's free Mystery Games event celebrates the beginning of June with two indie darlings that are unlikely to be in too many people's libraries. Calico get things going with magical girls and cats, portraying the former while running a cafeteria for the latter. Yes, this is a cozy business sim with a magical twist, along with an eye-catching art style that may take some getting used to. You create your own magical girl too.

Lone star

Epic's second weekly giveaway is Lone stara deck-building sci-fi roguelike that casts players as bounty hunters tasked with tracking down the universe's worst criminals. Along with a good presentation, Lone star has that addictive quality that so many roguelikes AND deckbuilders possess.

Northgard (mobile)

Although not as heavily promoted, the Epic Games Store recently added free weekly mobile games, with Northgrad be the current candidate. You have to follow a few steps to install the game, but it's worth the effort.

Bunny guys

After a free run on Steam, Bunny guys now going through the same process on the Epic Games Store. One of those “parkour/jump your way into floating assets” games, which are quite popular, or at least used to be.

Amazon Luna (requires Amazon Prime membership)

Free games for GOG, Epic Games Store and Amazon Games

Amazon Prime Gaming, now known as Amazon Luna, is arguably the best free gaming platform on the PC scene, but it tends to be forgotten because it's such a small part of the subscription service. If you have Amazon Prime, right now you can claim a bunch of freebies, including some pretty big names like Mafia 2: Definitive Edition. Amazon adds new titles sporadically, so keep an eye on this.

When you claim a game through Amazon Luna, it's yours – no Amazon Prime or Amazon Luna subscription required to play.

Free indie games that may not be on Steam

While it doesn't get as much attention as Steam or the Epic Games Store, Itch.io regularly gives away free games as well. Designed entirely to promote indie creators, these freebies are always small titles that wouldn't otherwise get too much attention.

IndieGala free game

Blood and Zombies & Carlos the Taco

Blood and zombies has been free for months now, and looks set to stay that way for now. A co-op zombie shooter, this game is a small entry in an oversaturated genre, but it might be worth a shot if you're in the mood for something other than Left 4 Dead 2.

Game Club “Waka-Waka” & Carlos the Taco

Another IndieGala free game with no expiration date, Game Club “Waka-Waka” lets you manage your own game store. Simple concept that doesn't necessarily do anything too new, but it works well enough.

Taco Carlos is a silly 2D platformer that clearly doesn't take itself too seriously. It features shoot 'em up action to complement the platforming.

The brave little cloud

Finally, The brave little cloud is another 2D platformer with colorful visuals, a cute protagonist, and simple level design. Nothing too amazing, but worth adding to your library.
