French game publisher and peripheral manufacturer Nacon revealed a range of new accessories for Nintendo Switch 2including new Joy-Con grips that seem designed for the new Mario Kart game. Nacon appears to be one of the first publishers to reveal its products for the Nintendo Switch 2, which will receive major gameplay reveals and updates at an upcoming Nintendo Direct.

After many months of speculation and rumors, Nintendo officially revealed the Nintendo Switch 2 on January 16th. Nintendo's next-generation hardware follows the successful design language of the original Nintendo Switch, but there are some notable differences, such as a larger screen, slightly larger Joy-Cons and two USB-C ports instead of one. Additionally, the console is backwards compatible with games from the original Switch, with some titles not fully supported on the Switch 2. Nacon launched its official Nintendo Switch 2 accessories page with a wide range of carrying cases, extra cables and chargers and much more. First, a variety of soft and hard shell cases from Nacon will be available at the launch of the Nintendo Switch 2. Carrying cases start at €14.90, or roughly $15.53, and cases include plastic screen protectors, cleaning tools, and a small storage case for up to four Switch/Switch 2 game cartridges will be available for €19.90 ($20.74). A black “XL Carrying Case” will retail for €24.90 ($25.95) with extra space for up to 10 game cartridges, two Micro SD cards and additional Switch 2 accessories such as third-party controllers and cables. Gamers looking for even more storage might want to consider Nacon's €29.90 ($31.16) “Storage Case,” which can hold two Switch 2 Pro controllers, four pairs of Joy-Cons, the console's power adapter, and an HDMI adapter. It's worth noting that Nintendo hasn't directly confirmed or revealed a Pro Controller for the Switch 2.

Nacon will also offer clear Switch 2 protective cases, black silicone cases, tempered glass protective kits, and Joy-Con wheel grips for €9.90, or $10.31, each. The Joy-Con wheel grips come in a pair, so players can enjoy local co-op play with another friend in the new Mario Kart title. Additionally, car chargers and 30W AC chargers from Nacon will be available for €14.90 ($15.53), and a 65W AC charger will be available for €29.90 ($31.16).

Finally, Nacon will offer a “Folding Steering Wheel” accessory for €29.90 ($31.16). This accessory uses both Joy-Cons simultaneously to provide an immersive racing gaming experience on the Switch 2. The accessory's four suction cups hold the collapsible steering column attached to a surface to ensure it is stable for the player. The only racing game confirmed for Switch 2 is the upcoming one Mario Kart game, but it's possible that other racing games could be revealed at the Nintendo Direct on April 2nd.
