Slayer Baron Title Guide – Destiny 2: Revenant

Destiny 2's The Revenant episode has added a new title for the Guardians to hunt down: Slayer Baron. The progression for this title is similar to previous seasonal titles, requiring you to demonstrate mastery of each new activity while expanding your collection of weapons and armor. As long as you're okay with clearing 50 waves of raids, getting this title should be trivial for most players.

Today we'll be looking at how to complete all 16 triumphs associated with the Slayer Baron title. You only need to complete 15 of the listed Triumphs to get the title, so feel free to skip one that seems too difficult.

The Rise And Fall

Complete missions for all acts in Episode: Revenant.

This Triumph simply begs you to complete the Revenant story quest. You will receive the mission immediately when you log in during the season. Complete the entire quest chain and then claim the triumph.

Keep in mind that you have to complete the Kell's Fall Exotic quest to end this triumph. If you're new to Destiny 2, consider bringing some friends or refining your build before trying this. It's not a difficult mission, but it could prove punishing for the New Lights.

Get the Shadestalker Armor Set

Obtain a full set of Shadestalker armor.

Shadestalker is the name of this season's armor set, which you can get your hands on Revenant themed content and some tonics. If you're unlucky and can't get the full set to drop, you can also pick up Shadestalker armor in your season pass.

Earn Fair Judgment Auto Rifle

Earn the ritual weapon Fair Judgment.

Fair Judgment is the ritual weapon of the season. You can get it through reach Rank 16 with any ritual provider— Zavala, Shaxx and the Drifter. You earn progress for each vendor by completing their respective activity. If you prefer PvP, max out Shaxx's reputation. If you like Strikes and Onslaught, you will collect rewards from Zavala instead.

Defender of the innocent

Buy or upgrade defenses in Onslaught: Salvation.

This triumph speaks for itself. Onslaught has a myriad of defenses that you can buy and upgrade between waves. Triumph progress seems to be dictated by how much scrap you spend, so try to upgrade as many defenses as possible before the match is over. You'll need to clear the activity on Normal regardless, so this challenge should complete itself or be close to complete once you've completed all the other Onslaught Triumphs.

Sabotage Barrage

Defeat saboteurs in Onslaught: Salvation.

Saboteurs are mini-boss units that sometimes spawn during an assault run, usually ignoring traps to focus on ADUs. Their presence is noted on your HUD when they spawn, so keep an eye out. The API says you have to defeat 500 saboteurs, but the actual number is closer 50 dead.

Eliksni Defender

Apparent Attack: Salvation on normal difficulty.

Attack: Salvation is the one 50 wave playlist. You must beat all 50 waves on normal difficulty to complete this triumph. You'll want to bring some endgame builds before you give this a shot, as this activity hits a -20 Power delta against the last ten waves. Shadowshot spam, Speaker's Helm towers and Berserker Titans are highly recommended here.

The good news is that you only need to clear this once, and you only need to clear normal difficulty. Make sure your loadout can counter all Champion types and bring a good group. Play slow and you will win.

Barren land

Defeat Revenant Barons in Onslaught: Salvation.

Barons are the boss units you fight in Onslaught: Salvation that revive themselves with Scorn torches. Kill the baron, destroy the torch multiple times, and the boss stays dead. Keep farming Onslaught: Salvation and attempt a full Normal clear, and the challenge should be close to completion by the time you're done with every other triumph.

Tomb Doom

Defeat unique bosses in Tomb of the Elders.

Tomb of Elders has four unique bosses you must kill:

1. The machinist.

2. Sylok, the unclean.

3. Lucent fire team.

4. Psion Commander.

You will get one of these four bosses at the end of a turn. Kill the boss, start a new run and repeat until you've killed all four. Boss kills don't have to be in the same race.

Revenge, denied

Complete the “Kell's Vengeance” run of the Contest of Elders.

Kell's Vengeance is currently unavailable. This is a variant of Seniors competition activity that should start in the last three weeks of the season. Complete the mission and you will be able to claim this triumph.

Tomb Runner

Complete laps in the Tomb of the Elders.

Laps refer to successful boss kills in Tomb of the Elders. Complete enough activities to spawn a boss, then kill them to get your rewards. Keep farming the activity until you've completed all four levels of this triumph.

Kellmaker

Complete the exotic quest “Kell's Fall”.

“Kell's Fall” is the exotic quest this season, accessed during the Act 3 story quest. You only need to complete the mission once on normal difficulty to complete this triumphalthough the seasonal quest chain requires you to complete it a total of three times.

Legendary Slayer

Complete the exotic mission “Kell's Fall” on Expert difficulty.

The expert difficulty is significantly harder than the base mission, with Champions and a forced -20 Power delta. You want a build with high survivability before jumping in here, preferably something with consistent healing like Restoration and Devour. Bring a fire team if possible.

Sharpened Fang

Unlock all catalysts for the Slayer's Fang Exotic Shotgun.

Each Slayer's Fang catalyst is obtained from illusory anchors in Kell's Fall. There are three anchors per catalyst, for a total of 12 across the entire mission. Consult our illusory anchor guide for a breakdown of where to find each one.

Modern Major Generals

Carry out three major field works.

Fieldworks are special rewards you can collect from Eido in The Last City hub. You have to complete smaller fieldwork before you can access larger fieldwork. Minor fieldwork is unlocked by discovering strengthening recipes. Complete enough minor fieldwork and Eido will let you take on a larger fieldwork. You must complete in total four major field workswhich can be divided between each act.

Medicinal Masters

Craft 100 tonics.

There is not much to explain here. Get to Last City hub for crafting tonics with seasonal crafting currencies. Consult our tonics guide for a brief overview of how this new crafting system works and how to use your tonics.

Hearty collector

Complete any tonic collection.

Tonic collections seem to be based on Acts rather than subcategories of the alchemy menu. Simply keep crafting tonics until you unlock enough recipes to complete this triumph. It really is that simple.
