How to complete the 2025 Fashion Week event for Pokemon Go

It's time for Pokemon Go annual Fashion Week eventan event centered around fancy, costumed Pokémon. In addition to these event-exclusive Pokémon, several bonuses and features will be added to the game during this event, in addition to a couple of Pokémon Go debuts.

This year's Fashion Week Event will last for over a week, from Friday, January 10, 2025 at 10.00 local time until Sunday 19 January 2025 at 20.00 local time. There will be both new and returning events for the 2025 Fashion Week Event; read on for all the information you need to get the most out of them.

Pokemon Go debuts

There will be two dressed Pokemon make their debuts with this year's Fashion Week Event. This includes both Minccino wears a fashionable suit and its evolution, Cinccino also wears a fashionable costume.

During this event, you will have the opportunity to meet and capture Minccino in a fashionable costume through his own One-Star Raid. After catching this dressed Pokemon, you have the option to evolve it into Cinccino, keep your suit.

Event bonuses

There will be two event bonuses active throughout this event, available to all players playing during the event window. This includes:

• Double Stardust to catch any Pokemon.
• Double the chance to get Candy XL to catch Pokemon (trainer level 31 and above).

In addition, there will be five Pokemon that will have increased chance of becoming shiny during this event. Each of these Pokemon are provided for you below.

• Kirlia wears a fashionable suit
• Butterfree dressed in a fashionable suit
• Dragonite wears a fashionable costume
• Minccino wears a fashionable suit
• Furfrou

Wild Encounter Pokémon

There will be several event-themed Pokémon that appear in the wild during this event. Be sure to log in and participate in this event for a chance to meet and catch the following seven Pokémon:

• Diglett dressed in a fashionable suit
• Blitzle wears a fashionable suit
• Kirlia wears a fashionable suit
• Dirty
• Bunary
• Furfrou
• Bruxish

Event Raid Pokemon

It will also be different Event-themed Pokémon that appear in both One-Star and Three-Star Raids during the 2025 Fashion Week Event. Each of these Pokemon, most of which are Event Exclusive Pokemon, can be found below with their Raid Level.

Event research

Paid timed research

You will have the opportunity to buy Timed research for the 2025 Fashion Week Event, available for purchase in Pokemon Go in the game store for $5.00. Completing the tasks for this timed research will reward you with the following:

• Fashion week themed avatar pose
• Encounters with Pokemon with the theme of fashion week
• 3,500 Stardust
• 3,500 XP

Field research tasks

Spinning different PokeStop Photo Discs during this year's Fashion Week Event will give you Event Field Research Tasks. Collect and complete these tasks to earn XP, Stardust, and event themed Pokemon encounters.

Event Collection Challenge

There will be one Event Collection Challenge available for all players to complete during this event. Catch specific event-themed Pokemon to complete this, reward yourself with an encounter with Shinx wears a fashionable suit and XP.
