How can you get more ram without upgrading hardware?
Upgrading your system is an obvious solution when you experience low performance in newer games. That's not necessarily the problem with Marvel Rivals, though; rather, there is an optimization problem here.
If you encounter FPS stuttering when Doctor Strange is around, don't panic. This is an in-game issue and not a system-related issue.
For example, whenever Doctor Strange is in a game, it causes many systems to drop frames. The character forces everyone in the game to render more when a portal opens. With some optimization fixes this could be fixed in the future. For now, try these solutions:
In-game optimization for best FPS

Windows optimizations to improve performance
It is enough to make adjustments to only graphics settings. You have to make some additional changes to your Windows settings. Follow the steps below to optimize Marvel Rivals:
Windows graphics settings
-
Open Windows settingsthen enter the System submenu and choose Show.
-
Scroll down and find Graphics Tab. Scroll through the list to find Marvel Rivals and click on it.
-
Press on Options button then select High performance and click the Save button.
Disables the game field and activates the game mode
-
Open Windows settings and click on Game submenu.
-
Under Game Settings, click Game Bar and turn it off.
-
Navigate to game settings again, and this time open Game Mode by clicking on it. Turn it on if it is off.
Game Bar takes up a lot of system resources, so it's best to keep it off. If you use the Game Bar to record games, try Note Studio as an alternative.
Also, make sure that update your graphics card drivers:
-
For Nvidia cards, open Nvidia GeForce Experience software and update from it.
-
For AMD cards, use AMD Software: Adrenaline Edition.
