How to plant the device

To begin, you must pick up the bombalso known as Rift Point Device. This item spreads exclusively at The starting point of the attackersand since only one unit is available per round, it's important to coordinate with your team on who needs to pick it up.

Once the device is in your possession, your next step is to choose a target location to plant it. There is two possible locations: A and B. Both are clearly marked on your minimap. Visually you can identify these places by crushed ground decorated with distinct purple glowing cracks. Deciding which location to approach depends on the placement of your team and the defending team's strategy.

When you arrive at your chosen website, move near the crushed ground. At this point, press the interaction button to start rooting the device — 'E' for PC and 'X' for Console.

Be aware that the planting process takes a while, leaving you vulnerable to enemy attacks. It is crucial to rely on your teammates to provide cover and fend off defenders while you complete this task.

When the unit is planted, a countdown starts and moves your target to defend the site and prevents the opposing team from disarming the bomb.
