The Adventures of Blade Of Frontiers
Baldur's Gate 3 is notable for its seemingly endless possibilities and outcomes, as each choice deeply affects how the story unfolds and its final conclusion. This also applies to your allies, who will have their fates shaped by your choices during your adventures, and who may end up on a completely different path than their original goals.

Baldur's Gate 3: 9 biggest differences when playing as Wyll
If you're playing as Wyll in Baldur's Gate 3, expect to see these changes in your playthrough.
Wyll, Blade of Frontiers is a perfect example. The young Ravengard, originally tasked with killing a certain “demon”, can change forever. Whenever you choose to bring him along as your loyal companion, the results for our favorite two-shoes Warlock are many. Giving him that horny look is just the beginning.
Lost In The Grove
Since he is not interested in bloodshed, Wyll will leave your party if you choose to attack Emerald Grove with Minthara. He usually tries to warn the grove, but stays with the party if you convince him that this is a trap for the trolls.
If you still choose to betray the Tieflings with him in your party, Wyll becomes hostile and you are forced to kill him. If he's at your camp during the attack instead, he'll leave during the trolls' celebration party.
Similar, if you never recruited Wyll, his body will be found in the aftermath of the battle if you side with the goblins. If you side with the Tiefling but never recruit him, he simply won't appear in the following acts once you move towards Act 2.
An early visit to hell
During Act 2, Mizora asks for the player's help in rescuing one of Zariel's (the ruler of Avernus) servants from the hands of the Absolute. The servant is none other than Mizora herselftrapped inside an Illithid pod. You will meet her when you reach Mindflayer's Colony under Moonrise Towers.
If you decide to abandon Mizora or kill her, Wyll is immediately sent to Avernus for all eternity as a lemura blobby monster destined to be tortured day after day. This is because he broke one of the clauses of his pact by neglecting his duty. This happens even though Wyll wasn't the one who condemned his patron, so I wouldn't ignore her if you care about him in the slightest.
Duke Ravengard
After completing Wyll's character quest (The Blade of Frontiers) by defeating the dragon Ansur in Act 3, Wyll gets to choose to follow in his father's footsteps and become the next Duke of Baldur's Gate.
You can encourage him to lay down the blade and pursue a political life, and he'll take over the position as soon as you deal with Netherbrain. Saving his father is not necessary to reach this conclusion.
You'll get the chance to meet the newest Duke during Wither's epilogue party. Wyll's personal struggles and triumphs depend on the choices you made during your playthrough. He will comment on how his horns could be a nuisance if he becomes a demon, for example.
He aims to rule alongside three other dukes, which will include Florrick and his father Ulder Ravengard if they are still alive. He is still looking for another ruler and invites the player to take this role if you have romanced him.
If his pact with Mizora is broken, she is nowhere to be found, and Wyll mentions that he learned some new tricks of his own. If he is still her servant, she stays by his side in a human disguise at all times, much to her delight and his chagrin. Regardless of the situation, Wyll wants to rebuild the city and create as many alliances as possible.
The Blade Of Avernus Rises
If Wyll becomes a demon and you complete his quest, but don't encourage him to become a duke and tell him to be a hero instead, he will take a new title as the Blade of Avernus. After embracing his new nature, he begins hunting demons and devils directly in Avernus. He will be invited to Wither's party six months later.
You can join him on this new path if you love himand you will both be called to the epilogue later. During the epilogue, he will eagerly share stories of his fallen marks. If you went to hell together, he'll remember how you both defeated them instead.
Similar to other endings, there are some differences depending on how you led your adventures. He mentions how his father is proud of him if he's alive, and that Mizora is surprisingly chill with his new target, letting him freely hunt down any enemies of Avernus, in case they're still bound by contract.
If their pact is broken, however, he mentions that she is his next target, and is currently looking for a way to locate and defeat her once and for all. He is now a Ranger, having lost his Warlock abilities.
This ending also has another branch. After defeating Netherbrain, if Wyll became the Blade of Avernus and you completed Karlach's character quest, he will offer to return to Avernus with her, promising to protect her from Zariel.
She will agree, and both search for a definitive solution to Karlach's heart together in Avernus. He will talk about their adventures together during the epilogue, and the two of them grew much closer during those six months. Of course, you can also join them if you want. Probably the best possible ending for Karlach and a good ending for Wyll as well.
The Adventures of Blade Of Frontiers
Wyll retains his original title if you manage to complete his personal quest without turning him into a demon and choose not to be a dukeor if you don't complete his quest at all.
Not completing the quest works for both the human and the demon Wyll. This is the only way to give him this end as a demon.
This ending is quite similar to the Blade of Avernus route, with the most notable difference being the monsters killed by him (creatures like dragons and giants instead of demons). Of course, the Karlach duo ending can't happen, since he has no reason to enter Avernus.
His relationship with his father and Mizora is much the same as well, with small details changed to account for his situation. Wyll remains basically the same as when you met himso while this isn't a bad ending per se, it isn't the best of them either. At least he gets to stay alive and happy.
