Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Season 5 is coming starts Thursday, July 23 at 9 a.m. PT. As this is a new season update, players will need to download all content in order to play Black Ops 7 or War zone. Season 5 preloads are already livemeaning you can download the update before launch and jump in as soon as Season 5 starts.

Endgame content

  • Fire driving task: Race against other players in a vehicle rigged to explode. Pass through 30 arcs and run over fearsome enemies for additional seconds.
  • Exotic Ability Boosts: Adds enhancements to your major and minor abilities. These can be found in Item Cases in Zone IV and Nightmare Zone.
  • The final game remains free to play to season 6

Multiplayer content

  • New maps, including:

    • Jubilee (Medium 6v6)
    • Frequency Remaster (Medium 6v6)
    • You Remaster (small size 6v6)
    • Turbo Tilt (Small size 6v6/2v2 arrives with season 5 reloaded)

  • New modes, including:

    • Overdrive Domination: Capture targets and get eliminations to unlock unique perks and abilities.
    • Gauntlet Rush: Compete in five different rounds of different modes: Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, Domination, Hardpoint and Roulette. Each mode lasts for two minutes and players unlock operator upgrades as they play.
