There is a lot to find if you want to achieve 100% in Assassin's Creed: Black Flag resynced. From floating Song Sheets to hidden outfits and a plethora of ship cosmetics, you can lose a lot of time hunting them all down. Some areas you need to explore won't be available until much later in the main campaign.
One of these locations is Long Bay, which is locked until you progress to the quest “The Observatory”. After completing this quest, you will be able to return and freely explore this area, so you can get hold of the collectibles that are hidden.
All Long Bay collectibles
Like many of the other islands, Long Bay has a combination of animals, vantage points, secrets, chests and, critically, the 16th Mayan Stele. Located at coordinates (496,266) in the Castillo de Jagua region, you can access this location after visiting this area during the campaign mission “The Observatory”.
For this guide, we'll cover where to find all the collectibles needed to “finish” this location and make the symbol gold, along with a list of where the data file is if you're interested in getting that item, even if it's not required. The only part we won't cover are the animal hunting locations, all of which will be clearly marked on your map if you visit the vantage points we list below.
At this point, most of the animal skins they offer are mostly worthless outside of selling or trading specific cosmetics. Due to how late in the game Long Bay is unlocked, you will almost certainly have all of Kenway's craft upgrades already acquired. If you want to hunt the animals, just go to their icons on the map and use your Assassin's Vision to find them when you enter their general vicinity.
As for the rest of the collectibles, here's where you can find everything in Long Bay so you can achieve 100% in this location.
Viewpoints

Viewpoint 1 Location — 499,291
The first vantage point on Long Bay can be found right after anchoring your ship offshore. Once on the beach, look for a large mast sticking out of the water with several birds flying around it. Right near the top of the mast there will be a section you can stand on and sync the surroundings.

Viewpoint 2 Location — 505,232
Viewpoint number two can be found deeper on the island as you pass through the first jungle section with all the animals. When you enter the next beach area where the bodies are tied to poles, you'll see a massive tower with a pirate hanging from it on top. Climb the top of the tower and you'll find another sync point.

Lookout – 502 218
The last vantage point is directly at the observatory's entrance. Look to the left of the entrance when you arrive at a large blocky structure covered in vines. Climb up along the right wall of this structure to reach the top where the final sync point is.

Chest 1 Location — 491,299
Your first chest is on the beach just below Viewpoint 1. Go into the water and swim right past the large mast sticking out of the water to the floating debris. Once at the planks, dive into the sea, and you'll find the chest sitting next to some coral and rocks. Open it to get a few thousand Reales.

Chest 2 Place — 509,232
For the second chest, make your way to the inner beach where the pirate is hanging from the large tower. When you're facing the tower, look to the right, and you'll find a small cave entrance blocked by a bunch of wooden posts. To the left of this makeshift door, you'll see a wooden plank leaning against a wall. Use this to climb over the cliff and enter the room where the chest is through a hole in the ceiling.

Chest 3 Place — 507,226
The last chest is in the first area of the jungle where the hostile natives patrol. Clear out the enemies and then make your way to the lowest level of the cave. Along the wall to the left, there will be an opening about halfway that leads into a side room with four posts. At the back of the room you'll find the third chest and add some extra cash to your pocket.

Secret 1 seat – 507,226
Your first secret is in the same area as the third chest. This is in the cave where you first encounter the enemy natives. Go left into the side room and the message in a bottle will be sitting in front of where the four large posts are sticking out of the sand.

Secret 2 Place — 507,223
The second secret is in the same cave where you found the previous one. Make your way up to the second floor of the cave and head towards the cave entrance. Turn right and there will be a path leading to a side area where there is a chest. Inside the chest is the bracelet that you can show back at the mansion.
Mayan Stele Location

Mayan Stele Location – 501 217
The last major collectible on the island is the Maya Stele, which should be the 16th if you've collected all the previous Maya Steles up to this point. Thankfully, this one is very easy to find, as it's directly to the right of Viewpoint 3 outside the Observatory entrance. Stand on the podium and line up the outlines around the three square stools that rise from the ground.

For those who want the data file, go to the same area where you found the Mayan Stele and look up along the right wall. You can climb to the top by moving to the left of the wall and using the notches to scale to the top. Once up there, you'll find the Datafile floating in the air.
