There is a lot to look for if you want to reach 100% in Assassin's Creed: Black Flag resynced. From song sheets to chests to weapons and clothing, you can lose quite a bit of time trying to find everything. Even some areas that you will only visit briefly are important to explore, as they will contain collectibles that you need, such as portraits or song sheets.
One of those places is Principe, which requires you to make your way through the main campaign until you end up chasing a couple of Templars to Africa. Here's where you can grab all the collectibles in this location so you don't have to visit it again.
All Principe collection points
When it comes to hunting collectibles in Principe, be aware that almost the entire place is hostile. Although there are a lot more soldiers during the campaign mission, it will be overrun by enemy pirates when you return. Thankfully, the number of enemies will decrease drastically after the mission, so I recommend looking for collectibles so you can freely explore Principe.
Also, there are no contracts you need to complete here and three different types of animals that will be marked on your map when you use the vantage points. We won't cover these, but you can easily find them by selecting them on your map. There is also a portrait you can find here, which will be added, as we need this to complete the mansion quest.
Viewpoints
-
-
Point of view 1 Location — 98.19
The first viewpoint is right when you arrive at this place. Along the right side of the beach you will see a large capsized boat with the front of the ship sticking out of the water. Climb up the bar at the front of the bow to find the sync point.
-
-
Point of view 2 Location — 110,18
Your second and final vantage point is at the eastern end of the fort just before you enter the city. Look for a large orange tower with a sniper soldier inside. Kill the soldier and climb onto the roof to synchronize and reveal the rest of Principe.
Chest locations
-
-
Chest 1 Place — 105.19
For the first chest, make your way to the north side of the fort to one of the walled areas. You are specifically looking for a tower attached to a slightly elevated section. Run up the stairs and turn right to see a small hut that has a chest inside. Keep in mind that this area is guarded, so be prepared to kill or sneak off the soldiers.
-
-
Chest 2 Place — 110.20
The second chest is a little further into the fort and will be in the section where you found the second vantage point. To the left of the tower you see a one-story building with a partially destroyed wall on the roof. Along this wall will be your next chest, which contains more money to fill your pockets with.
-
-
Chest 3 Place — 114.17
Chest number three is in the town where you first murdered the two Templars. Go to the center and look for a yellow tent located right next to an L-shaped one-story building. Inside the tent will be the last chest in Principe.
Song sheet site
-
-
Song sheet location — 112.17
The Song Sheet for this point of interest can also be found in the town near the water. On the west side of the village near the center, you'll see a floating music sheet over a roof. Chasing it south will eventually lead you to the harbor on the east side, while running after it to the north ends with you diving off a roof into a haystack. The southern side quest is either, but it doesn't really matter which way you go.
Secrets place
-
-
Secret location — 117.11
The only secret in Principe is on the far east side of the village. Make your way through the town towards the port, where you'll find the chest on the dock to the left. It will be under an awning next to some other supplies guarded by some enemies. This will include the Officers Outfit for Edward to wear.

Portrait seat — 113.20
Before we begin, it's important to note that this portrait will not be created until you revisit Principe the second time in the main story. This means that if you return to this location after killing the templar but before the 41st main quest, you won't find the painting! The final collectible at Principe is the portrait of Bartholomew Roberts. Also in town, make your way to the north side of town and look for an open tent with a large birdcage and some crates inside. You will find the portrait leaning against the cage.
