Amado's goal is to revive Akebi by any means possible, and with the help of the Prescience ability, he can find the best possible path to that very point. As such, Kashin Koji's Prescience ability will likely be extracted sooner or later and then potentially given to Amado himself or to Kawaki. This sets up a big buff for Kawaki, while also bringing up a deadly timeline where Akebi could potentially be revived as an Otsutsuki, setting up the next big villain for the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex series. We absolutely cannot wait to see how this storyline develops and what becomes of Kashin Koji after his abduction. Whether he will be reintegrated into Konoha from here on out or saved by Boruto Uzumaki later down the line remains to be seen.
Big fights are lined up in the New Boruto Arc on July 20, 2026
No matter how we look at it, the time for massive exposition and build-up is over, and Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 36 will start focusing directly on the big confrontations of the series. Boruto and Sarada vs. Code will likely begin in this new chapter, and we may even see Jura in action, assuming Boruto and Sarada split up in battle. In this scenario, it's very likely that Boruto Uzumaki will trade blows with either Jura or Code, and Sarada will be left on her own against Hidari, which could be perfect for her character development, especially as she battles the blindness that comes with the use of the Mangekyo Sharingan.
Similarly, exciting stuff has been lined up with Kawaki as well, especially after the abduction of Kashin Koji. We don't know who he will be fighting and how this fight will go, but Kawaki not playing a combat role in the big arc of the Boruto series is quite unlikely. As such, one way or another, he's going to be involved in a big fight, and we absolutely can't wait to see that either.
With the new battles officially set for release this month, the Boruto series will further increase the intensity and deliver non-stop action over the course of the next few months. Doing so will also create major power-ups for the main characters, especially Sarada Uchiha. More than that, it will finally allow for the return of Sasuke Uchiha if Hidari is to fall in this arc, and we eagerly await that return.
