Saturday, July 25 at Final Fantasy will be hosting the Berlin FanFest event to share more news about the upcoming Final Fantasy 14: Evercold expansion and other functions. Final Fantasy fans unable to attend the festivities can still listen to the keynote address and other panels hosted by FF14 producer and director Naoki Yoshida.
At the Anaheim FanFest event held in late April, Final Fantasy 14 revealed Evercoldthe game's sixth expansion. Set after the events of Dawnrail, Evercold will take the Warriors of Light and their allies to a frozen land known as the Fourth Reflection. Evercold will introduce several changes in Final Fantasy 14including end game gear and a new fighting style in Evolved Mode. Final Fantasy 14: Evercold will launch on all current platforms sometime in January 2027.
July 25th is a big day for Final Fantasy 14 fans
Soon, Final Fantasy 14 players worldwide will gather in Berlin to hear more details about the game's future. The Berlin FanFest keynote, hosted by Yoshida, begins on Saturday, July 25 at 10:00 CEST or 4:00 Eastern. At the keynote, Yoshida will discuss more details about Evercold, including the reveal of one of the two planned new jobs coming to Final Fantasy 14 early next year. Either a Tank or a Physical Ranged DPS Job will be showcased during the Berlin FanFest keynote, while the other new Evercold Job will likely be kept under wraps until Tokyo FanFest in October. Additional information about Final Fantasy 14Evolved Mode combat and the zones players will explore during Evercold will likely be shared during the keynote.

Gamers unable to attend Berlin FanFest can watch the keynote and other panels live and on demand for free via Final Fantasy 14s official Twitch and YouTube channels. During the Anaheim FanFest, Yoshida wore a T-shirt featuring Rhitahtyn sas Arvina, a minor antagonist from A kingdom again. Given Yoshida's history of using T-shirts to tip FF14 expansion features, it is currently unclear what the Rhitahtyn shirt means for Evercold. In addition, EvercoldThe 8-player raid series will be revealed during the keynote. With that in mind Final Fantasy 14 revealed a crossover alliance raid series with The Gospel during Anaheim FanFest, it remains to be seen what surprises FF14s raid development team has planned.
However, Evercold will not be the only topic discussed during the Berlin FanFest event. Yoshida will be joined by FF14 global community producer Toshio “Foxclon” Murouchi and lead battle content designer Masaki “Mr. Ozma” Nakagawa for the 93rd Letter from the Producer LIVE broadcast at 4:30 PM CEST or 9:30 AM Eastern. The live letter will be dedicated Final Fantasy 14's Beastmaster Limited Job and other miscellaneous updates.
Beastmaster is currently coming in Patch 7.56 on Tuesday, September 8th. In addition, Final Fantasy 14The next content update, Patch 7.55, will hit live servers on Tuesday, July 28th, just a few days after Berlin FanFest ends. Between FanFest and the upcoming Switch 2 port of Final Fantasy 14fans of Final Fantasy franchise faces a busy summer.
