New Destiny 2 legendary weapons melt bosses, but there's a catch

A Destiny 2 the player shares images of the outstanding performance of a new weapon from the Monument of Triumph update, and it destroys bosses. Destiny 2 will no longer have an ever-changing meta, as the game enters end of service and a hibernation phase of sorts, where only the servers will remain up, with no content or patches. As sad as this may be, the official communications social media account stated that next week's TWID and hotfix has been delayed, with no other date planned.

As an example, Bungie laid off hundreds of developers and blamed Destiny 2 for that, saying the game has underperformed for years despite its Platinum seller status on Steam and millions of players overall. Now the game has no active developers working on it, and the entire QA testing team has seemingly been laid off as well, so current bugs and issues may never be fixed. The arguably dull silver lining is that players looking for metaweapons will most likely be able to use them forever once they get them.

Destiny 2 Players Share Amazing Endgame Solo Build

A Destiny 2 player finds and shares a broken build that clears the endgame Raid encounter all solo.

A Destiny 2 player and content creator named NAPainter_ shared a video on Twitter showcasing the astounding damage dealt by the Threat Level God role. Reintroduced as part of the loot table for Destiny 2Pantheon 2.0, the Legendary Shotgun's threat level can roll with Cascade Point and All-Star, which pairs incredibly well with the Encrypted Data Artifact's Kinetic Synthesis and Kinetic Break. Since Threat Level is a kinetic shotgun, and the only one in the game that rolls with both Cascade Point and All-Star, NAPainter_ used it with Kinetic Synthesis to have a reliable way to keep 35% damage from All-Star up at all times.

The other weapon used by NAPainter_ is the Arcane Embrace, which is a heavy blaster shotgun available from the Festival of the Lost Weapon Engrams in the Tower, at Tenet of Bravery. This was added as part of the Monument of Triumph coat of arms in Destiny 2and players can easily get one due to how small the pool is. In this case, an Arcane Embrace with Fourth Time's the Charm and Aggregate Charge is used not only as an accompanying DPS weapon, but to easily and reliably proc the Threat Level's Cascade Point, as the Arcane Embrace fires two bullets at a time. Combined with support from Well and Divinity, while firing Needlestorm Super and Finality's Auger, Threat Level gets a whopping 8,400 DPS.

NAPainter_ mentions that this is likely even stronger on Titan due to better damaging Supers, like Twilight Arsenal or Thundercrash. The combination of Artifact i Destiny 2's Monument of Triumph, Threat Level, Arcane Embrace, and a few other elements are incredibly blasted, and all classes can probably benefit from this. For example, Hunters can use Blade Barrage, Deadfall or Silence and Squall.

Not only that, but Finality's Auger isn't necessary either. Players can use another exotic, such as Anarchy, which deals similar damage and is easier to obtain. The catch is that Threat Level is only obtained through Pantheon, so players must farm for the shotgun. The good news is that Destiny 2's Morgeth cheese farm is still in the game, as the boss can be thrown from the map with Finishers.
