2001 novel Halo: The Fall of Reach is officially receiving an audio drama adaptation, which is slated for release on November 10, 2026. The audio drama will be seen HaloMaster Chief and Cortana actors Steve Downes and Jen Taylor return in their iconic roles.

Halo: The Fall of Reach was the first ever novel in the sci-fi series, was released in 2001 as a prequel to another Halo: Combat Evolved. 25 years later it is still considered among the best Halo books, explore the origins of the series' protagonist, Master Chief. The book leads directly into the events of The fight developedwhich makes this audio drama good timing, considering the upcoming release of the remake, Halo: Campaign Evolved.

The Halo: Fall of Reach audio drama was officially revealed at Halo Waypoint, while publisher Simon & Schuster has listed it as releasing on November 10, 2026. This is just five days before the series' 25th anniversary, a huge milestone. Tim Dadabo will tell Fall of Reach adaptation, while Steve Downes and Jen Taylor reprise their roles as Master Chief and Cortana/Dr. Halsey, respectively. More casting news for the audio dramatization of Eric Nylund's novel will follow in the coming months.

Because The scope case is one of the most iconic Halo novels, this is not the first adaptation of any kind.
