Jujutsu Kaisen Celebrates Anime's 5th Anniversary With Colorful Merch Drop

Japanese fashion marketplace ZOZOTOWN has announced a new collaboration with Jujutsu Kaisen to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the anime adaptation. Gege Akutami's dark fantasy adventure manga series started Weekly Shonen Jump spring 2018 and quickly became a great success among readers. However, it was its anime adaptation that changed Jujutsu Kaisen into an international phenomenon, with its most recent third season receiving rave reviews from critics and viewers alike. Now, those with a soft spot for Season 1 can get their hands on some exclusive items, but only for a very limited time.

From October 2020 to March 2021, fans were treated to Jujutsu Kaisen Season 1, and the feedback was very positive. Adaptation continues to be helmed by MAPPA, and as the studio is currently celebrating its 15th anniversary, news about the future of Jujutsu Kaisen expected to be revealed in the coming weeks. Most recently, season 3, with the title The Culling Game: Part 1aired in early 2026, with fans applauding its sleek animation and action sequences. A fourth season of Jujutsu Kaisen is in the works, but for now, devoted viewers can show their love for their favorite characters with a lively new merch drop.

Jujutsu Kaisen is teaming up with ZOZOTOWN to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the Anime Adaptation

ZOZOTOWN has revealed a new lineup of apparel and merchandise inspired by the ending theme Jujutsu Kaisen Season 1 to celebrate the show's fifth anniversary. Fans can find 22 unique clothing items, including hoodies, hats, T-shirts and shoulder bags, as well as handkerchiefs and backpacks with a total of 12 characters. Pre-orders are scheduled to run from July 3rd to July 31st, with items expected to ship by the end of September 2026. Also, fans in Japan are in luck, as a special pop-up store will be held from July 3rd to July 12th at MIL GALLERY JINGUMAE in Shibuya, Tokyo. Visitors will receive one of three special stickers as a gift for every ¥5,000 (about US$32) they spend.

This is not the only thing Jujutsu Kaisen merch drop to get fans talking. Last month, SH Figuarts revealed a gorgeous new Yuji Itadori figure, while Good Smile Company recently revealed a collection of Nendoroids inspired by some of the series' most popular characters. Way back in 2023, the Battle Royale title Fortnite added Jujutsu Kaisen-inspired skins and cosmetics for the game, with the likelihood of aspects of Akutami's magnum opus coming to more games in the future seems very high.

In December 2021, Jujutsu Kaisen 0 was released in Japanese cinemas, with the feature film serving as a prologue to the manga series. After Crunchyroll acquired the rights to the film, it was screened in over 1,500 theaters in North America in the spring of 2022. As of this writing, Jujutsu Kaisen 0 boasts a Rotten Tomatoes score of 96%, with fans and critics alike applauding its animation, likable characters, horror elements, and talented voice cast.
