Dragon Ball Super: Broly did the unthinkable by making both Broly and Gogeta canon after years of being stuck in non-canon spin-offs and movies. Two of the most popular Dragon Ball characters in the franchise, Gogeta and Broly's final showdown in DBS: Broly remains one of the greatest fights in anime history. Eight years ago Dragon Ball Super: Broly released and made Gogeta canon, the strongest Saiyan fusion in the Dragon Ball story will officially return at San Diego Comic-Con next month. Not only that, Gogeta returns with an upgraded Super Saiyan Blue transformation, his hair is now colored like his Limit Ultra Kamehameha and the Masterered Super Saiyan Blue transformation from Dragon Ball Super manga.

Super Saiyan Blue Gogeta is officially coming to SDCC 2026
The TamashiiNations X account has officially announced that an exclusive Super Saiyan Blue Gogeta SH Figuarts action figure will be available for purchase at SDCC 2026, which will run from July 23, 2026 to July 26, 2026 next month. SUPER SAIYAN GOD SUPER SAIYAN GOGETA -Exclusive Edition- can be purchased at the Tamashii Nation booth, but as before Dragon Ball Comic-Con exclusive, there will more than likely be limited availability.
According to Tamashii Nation's official website, Super Saiyan Blue Gogeta has been completely redesigned to better match how he looked in Dragon Ball Super: Broly. His Super Saiyan Blue hair and gi now have a beautiful pearl plate, giving him a newfound aura that does the late Tatsuya Nagamine's direction justice. Super Saiyan Blue Gogeta also comes with Kamehameha effect parts, three facial expressions and three hand parts for ultimate customization.

Gogeta remains the strongest fusion in Dragon Ball history
Gogeta has not made a canon appearance since then Dragon Ball Super: Brolybut he is still one of the most powerful characters in the Dragon Ball Superand by far the strongest fusion. Akira Toriyama's original draft for Dragon Ball Super: Brolyinfamous for Super Saiyan Blue Gogeta launching Broly to the surface of the sun, where he would totally dominate him in their final battle. In the movie itself, Gogeta instead causes a dimensional breach, which is a hugely impressive feat in and of itself.

Gogeta is so powerful that it is implied that he is strong enough to not only fight, but possibly defeat Beerus. Since Gogeta seemingly doesn't suffer from any time limit issues, he is also much more powerful than Vegito, even fighting at full power. Now that Vegeta has unlocked Ultra Ego, Gogeta will be that much stronger if Goku and Vegeta ever decide to fuse into him again. Considering how dangerous Frieza is currently, they might just have to when the Black Frieza Saga finally begins in Dragon Ball Super manga.
