Nintendo removes most Ocarina of Time Remake descriptions

Although it is a matter of course that Ocarina of time remake will feature updated graphics, Nintendo quietly removed most of its previous words about the upcoming project. As of this writing, the Nintendo Store listing is for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time said that “The Nintendo 64 classic returns for a new generation in 2026, reborn exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2!” Before Nintendo made the change, Zelda fans on social media said that Ocarina of time store page previously stated, “The N64 classic is reborn as a full remake for Nintendo Switch 2. Experience Ocarina of time with stunning visuals, updated design, and timeless gameplay.” It's currently unclear why Nintendo made the change Ocarina of time store page to exclude mention of the game's graphics or gameplay. With that in mind Ocarina of time was previously ported to Nintendo 3DS systems in June 2011, it is also unclear if the upcoming Switch 2 port will be a similar project or a complete remake with additional features.
