Where is the Marvel's Punisher video game?
Unfortunately, that's not exactly what many fans want right now. More comic books are always good, but The Punisher has been absent for so long, remains as potent a character as ever, and yet he has yet to be fully utilized. Outside of the special, which is only one episode, Daredevil: Born Again gave him a small role in season 1 and he is obviously not the main character in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Many Punisher fans no doubt feel it's time for a proper own series again, if not outright some fans want one Punisher video game. Shooters are as popular as ever, and a rendition of Punisher Video game based on Jon Bernthal's Frank Castle sounds like a million dollar idea. Whether it's first or third person, but in a unique way it explores the psychology of Frank Castle, whoever is doing it, it's been a long time since the last Punisher video game, and it's time for a new one as his presence in the Marvel Universe continues to expand.
Whether it's on the table somewhere is currently unknown despite an extensive selection of Marvel video games in development. Games like Marvel's Blade, Marvel's Iron Man, and Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra, as well as 2026's Marvel's Wolverine, benefit greatly from the IP as a whole, but Punisher is essentially tailored for video games. And yet, no developer has pursued him as a main focus (obviously not discussing his appearance in Marvel Rivals) and protagonist since then. The Punisher: No Mercy year 2009.
Between One Last Kill, Spider-Man: Brand New Dayand Marvel Zombies: War Zoneit's clear that Punisher fans are eating well this year. But ultimately, it's also pretty clear that there's a lot of potential money left on the table without a stronger presence.
