One Piece officially welcomes its new strongest Paramecia Devil Fruit

Devil Fruits were first introduced in One Piece Chapter 1, which was officially released on July 18, 1997, in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #34. Since then, Eiichiro Oda, the creator of One Piecehas greatly expanded on Devil Fruits by introducing unique classes as well as subclasses. Jewelry Bonney's Toshi Toshi no Mi is the most powerful new Paramecian in one piece

Jewelry Bonney was officially introduced in One Piece in the Sabaody Archipelago Arc, specifically in Chapter 498, which was released in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #22-23 on April 28, 2008. At the time, Jewelry Bonney was assumed to be an adult woman. But the truth about her was only recently revealed in the Egghead Arc. In this arc of One Piece, Eiichiro Oda officially confirmed to us that Jewelry Bonney was actually a 12-year-old child with immense capabilities. Despite being only 12, Bonney was able to acquire a 320 million berry prize, showing her immense genius, and all of this was due to her incredible Devil Fruit ability called Toshi Toshi no Mi.

On the surface, Toshi Toshi no Mi could be mistaken for a Devil Fruit that can simply change the ages of other people Bonney touches temporarily, as well as herself. Anything that the user believes does not exist cannot be brought to reality, but if the user has complete faith in something, that future can easily be realized with the power of Toshi Toshi no Mi.

Basically, with Bonney's ability, any future she imagines for herself can be brought forth with ease, making it the most broken Paramecia Devil Fruit in the entire series. As seen at the beginning of Egghead, specifically in chapter 1064, Jewel Bonney can even show alternate futures to those around her with a touch of her palm. For example, she was able to transform Luffy into his old version from the terrible future as Eiichiro Oda illustrated in SBS Volume 54 of One Piece Volume 89 on February 5, 2019. This means that Bonney's ability to use Distorted Future is not limited to just herself, but can spread to others around her as well.

In the Egghead arc, specifically in One Piece Chapter 1118, which was released in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump Issue #30 on June 24, 2024, Jewelry Bonney showed the ability to even manifest the form of the Sun God Nika. By using this form, she was able to deal lethal damage to one of the Five Elders, showing off the immense potential of this fruit. Bonney has even shown the ability to transform himself into a Buccaneer, which was officially shown in Chapter 1072 on January 23, 2023.

In fact, Bonney could theoretically also copy the ability of Gura Gura no Mi, in a future where she is the user. If Bonney knows for sure that Gura Gura no Mi exists, then there is nothing stopping her from temporarily duplicating this ability as well. Similarly, any deity found in the World of One Piece, such as the Devil God Nerona Imu, can have their power replicated using Toshi Toshi no Mi's ability.

This Devil Fruit has unlimited potential and can do almost anything the user can imagine, making it truly the strongest in the world when it comes to the Paramecia class.

The true awakening of Bonney's Toshi Toshi no Mi will make it one of the strongest fruits in the world

What's really scary about Bonney's use of Toshi Toshi no Mi is that she's incredibly nervous at the moment due to her age. Bonney is only 12, meaning she doesn't have enough stamina to fully utilize this ability. When she used the Gear 5, she could only use it for a moment before she tired. As Bonney grows and becomes physically stronger, she will be able to manifest these abilities for much longer. Meanwhile, Jewelry Bonney could also potentially go on to awaken Toshi Toshi no Mi, which would take her powers to a whole new level. Devil Fruit Awakenings were explained by Kaido to be a phenomenon that occurs when the user's mind and body catch up with the ability. In Bonney's case, this is highly likely to happen, given her immense genius.
