The latest rumors have teased a new Nintendo Direct announcement, but it seems the company chose to wait for the excitement from the previous weekend to die down to get the full spotlight. It turns out that the rumors were indeed true, as Nintendo confirmed on June 9th as the date of its next live broadcast. Additionally, there will be a Nintendo Treehouse segment following the presentation, where games will be shown live. Nintendo has confirmed that the direct will be around 50 minutes long, with the Treehouse portion around 95 minutes in total.
