All Shichibukai and their special powers, ranked

The Shichibukai, also known as the Seven Warlords of the Sea, are some of the most powerful individuals ever to exist in the world of One Piece. These are mighty strong pirates who worked for the government in exchange for a certain level of freedom to do whatever they wanted. Over the years, fans have seen quite a few of these powerful Shichibukai, and each of them has a unique ability up their sleeve that makes them special in more ways than one.

Gecko Moria

• Special Ability: Kage Kage no Mi

Gecko Moria served as a villain in the Thriller Bark arc, where it was confirmed that he was one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea. As one of the legendary warlords, Moria was very strong and had a special power of Kage Kage no Mi, which allows him to control the Shadows at will.

From all of his techniques, the strongest power that he possessed was Shadows Asgard, which allowed him to absorb many shadows and grow exponentially in terms of size, as well as strength, speed, and almost every other physical attribute. In Thriller Bark, he grew so strong that the entire island was threatened by his existence. Had he stopped over-consuming shadows, Moria would have even been able to beat Luffy. But his pride made him consume too much, to the point where he couldn't even hold them properly, and this led to his downfall.

Donquixote Doflamingo

• Special Ability: Ito Ito no Mi

Donquixote Doflamingo was the king of Dressrosa, and a powerful former sky dragon with enormous abilities up his sleeve. He stood as the main villain in the Dressrosa arc and could pose a significant challenge to Luffy and the Straw Hats.

The power of his Paramecia Ito Ito no Mi was his strongest asset in battle, and with this ability he could manipulate and produce strings at will. Using his powerful Awakening, Doflamingo was also able to transform his surroundings into string. He also had other abilities, such as Parasite or Birdcage, which made him an incredibly difficult enemy for anyone to contend with. He was truly a terrifying villain and goes down in history as one of One Piece's strongest. Everything about him, from the use of his Devil Fruit to the way he carried himself, fit a perfect villain.

Bartholomew Kuma

• Special ability; Nikyu Nikyu no Mi

Bartholomew Kuma is the former king of Sorbet who sold himself to the government for the sake of his daughter Jewelry Bonney. Kuma slowly turned into a Pacifista and was made into a puppet by the Heavenly Dragons, but he also stood as a strong fighter. Kuma has quite a few abilities up his sleeve.

Most of all, Kuma had the power of the Nikyu Nikyu no Mi, which is a Paramecia-type devil fruit that allows him to transport people to another location with the palm of his hand and repel things at various speeds, including at the speed of light. Kuma's greatest ability may not be his Devil Fruit. He was recently revealed to be from the Buccaneer race. This race has a special ability that remains unknown to this day. It is because of this ability that Kuma was able to override the orders issued to him by the Five Elders and act against their will despite his free will being removed.

Jinbe

• Special Ability: Fishman Karate Secret Arts

Jinbe was introduced as a Shichibukai early in One Piece before the Straw Hats even entered the Grand Line. When it comes to Jinbe, we know he doesn't have many fancy techniques up his sleeve. His most special power can be considered his Fishman Karate Secret Arts.

Jinbe has used these abilities on many occasions in the series, and techniques such as the Vagabond Drill and Onigawara Seiken fall into this category. In his fight against Who's Who in Wano, Jinbe used the Onigawara Seiken to finish the fight, but against Big Mom and in Elbaf, Jinbe has relied more on the Vagabond Drill. Each of these two is his strongest and most special power. Meanwhile, there are likely other abilities belonging to the Fishman Karate Secret Arts that Jinbe can use but has yet to use.

Sir Crocodile

• Special Ability: Suna Suna no Mi

Crocodile is one of One Piece's ultimate villains and he served the role of the major antagonist in Arabasta Saga. Crocodile's strongest ability was probably his Devil Fruit, in the form of the Logia-type Suna Suna no Mi. This is an incredible fruit that allows Crocodile to create, control and turn into sand at will. On top of that, he can also wipe things out in an instant, making him a truly terrifying foe for anyone to face in battle.

Dracule Mihawk

• Strongest Ability: Swordsmanship

Dracule Mihawk is one of the strongest fighters in One Piece with sword skills far superior to that of any other individual. Mihawk's strongest power is by far his Black Blade, Yoru. This blade belongs to the Supreme Grade class and is said to be the finest blade in the entire world.

Mihawk uses it with great precision and grace in battle. We've only seen a little bit of Mihawk using the power of this sword, but eventually he'll show what he's truly capable of in battle as One Piece focuses on him more and more in the Final Saga.

Boa Hancock

• Strongest Ability: Mero Mero no Mi

Boa Hancock is known to be a fearsome pirate all over the world. She comes from the legendary island of Amazon Lily, where only women live and only the strongest can rule. Hancock is the strongest on this island and as such the most beautiful. She is known to be a user of all three types of Haki, and her abilities can hardly be matched by anyone.

Hancock also has powerful abilities up his sleeve that can be classified as a special power. Her go-to ability that can be considered her specialty is her Devil Fruit, called Mero Mero no Mi. This fruit allows Hancock to charm people around her. All those who are charmed by her in any way, be it romantic or not, can turn to stone.

Hancock can also turn inanimate objects and those not charmed by her to stone using physical contact, using techniques such as Perfume femur, making her Devil Fruit truly deadly. However, this is not Hancock's only special power. She is also of the Kuja race, which is prone to harnessing the power of Haki. Why that is is still unknown, but considering that Hancock is strongest there, her Haki must be on a completely different level.
