How to start a fire in Paralives
The easiest way I have found to fire Paralives is through cooking. Go to the kitchen, click on the refrigerator and select the Cook option. From there, you'll have to choose one of the high-level dishes, and your para will likely start a fire.
If you'd rather skip the wait, you can use the SETITEMONFIRE cheat to set an item in motion. There is also SETSELECTEDCHARACTERSONFIRE, which sets the selected parameters on fire.
How to put out fires in Paralives
Once a fire starts, it can escalate quickly. Here's how to handle it:
Turn it off yourself
The easiest way to put out a fire is to click on the fire and select “Put out the fire.” Most of the time this works without problems and stops the situation before it gets worse.
The only problem is if your para starts to panic. In that case, things may become more difficult to control, and there is also a chance that they may catch fire. If they get caught on fire, you can click on them and select “Extinguish yourself.”
Call the fire department
Another option is to call the fire brigade, similar The Sims 4. In theory they should help, but in practice it doesn't always go smoothly.
Sometimes the firefighters will do their job; other times they just stand around while the fire continues to spread, which can prove even more deadly and unreliable than the first method.
Use cheats
There are also cheats available if you want a faster solution:
- EXTINGUISHES FIRES removes every fire in the house instantly.
- EXTINGUISH SELECTED CHARACTER ON FIRE posts a specific paragraph if they burn.
