How to get a drum and a lyre in Romestead

There are a number of missions you need to complete Romesteadone of which is a quest for Venus to unlock the Wine Dolium, 'In Vino Veritas'. For this quest you must donate grapes and beer to the altar and collect both a drum and a lyre.

You'll only find drums and lyres in the desert biome, so head down the big paved road, and it will eventually lead you to the desert. Once there, clear out the entrance to the fortress and enter the desert. It's a pretty tricky area full of difficult enemies, so you may need to come prepared and go tin hunting to make bronze as soon as possible.

Both drums and lyres are available in the desert biome at Satyrläger. These are points of interest around the region, occupied by Satyr enemies.

I haven't found a point of interest to specifically spawn more drums and lyres, so just keep an eye out while exploring the biome in general.

Lyre in Romestead.

Drums can be found by destroying boxes and objects that resemble a drum. Basically my advice is to just smash everything at the various Satyr Camps and then check your inventory to see if you managed to get a drum.

The same works for lyres, although I found this lyre in a box rather than standing as an object in the world.

Once you have acquired a drum and a lyre, just go back to your altar and donate them. I would also suggest that you begin work on upgrading your altar as soon as possible allowing you to teleport between your original city and the new city you have established near the desert.

Now that you have submitted the assignment, you can start producing wine on vindolium. This is one potent healing item it can be produced ad infinitum as long as you have a farm that produces grapes and an automated water mill that grinds the grapes into paste.
