New Hollow Knight: Silksong Release Leaks Online

A known leaker with a proven track record has confirmed the release date for a physical edition of the Hollow Knight: Silk Songas well as everything included and the price of the platform. Apparently, this physical edition will also see a physical re-release of Hollow Knight happen too, and for the diehard Hollow Knight: Silk Song fans, both would certainly be great for the physical game collection.

I don't really need to explain how loved Hollow Knight: Silk Song is, with the game nominated for and winning multiple awards at The Golden Joystick Awards, The Game Awards, The Steam Awards, Ultra Game Awards, 15th New York Game Awards, Annual DICE Awards, Game Developers Choice Awards and British Academy Games Awards. Hollow Knight: Silk Song reviews also ended up with 90-94 Metascores across platforms, with 97% of critics recommending it and a top critic average of 91. Adding its physical edition to a collection is undoubtedly a must for some fans, and the latest leak is especially exciting as it comes from Billbil-kun – a PS Plus and retail leaker who has basically never been wrong.

Hollow Knight: Silksong Physical Release Leak Details

According to Billbil-kun, the physical edition of Hollow Knight: Silk Song will be released on October 16, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Nintendo Switch 2. The Nintendo Switch 2 version will of course include the upgraded version of the latest console iteration, but also the full game cartridge for Nintendo Switch 1. In addition to that, each physical release will include the following:

The game cartridge/disc (increasingly rare for physical releases)
A 32-page manual
A map of Pharloom
Distribution will be handled by Fangamer, who handled the first physical release of Hollow Knight.
Price: $39.99 for PS5 and Xbox versions, $44.99 for Nintendo Switch 2

Billbil-kun also notes that all of this is correct for the US but is still unsure if it will happen in Europe. As it stands, they believe it's due to Fangamer's involvement there, but they can't confirm that at this point.

Also, Billbil-kun cannot confirm the announcement of this physical release. They're going into speculation here, but believe the physical release could be announced as part of the upcoming Summer Game Fest event, where they also believe a proper reveal for the Sea of Sorrow DLC could take place.
