Microsoft has officially announced Xbox Game Pass Wave 2 lineup for May 2026. The latest roadmap includes eight new titles, three extended releases for Premium members, and a sneak peek at what Xbox Game Pass subscribers can expect in early June 2026.

This month's Xbox Game Pass Wave 1 lineup was formally revealed on May 5. Continuing with its usual pace, Microsoft has now announced the next batch of additions to its content catalog exactly 14 days later.

Xbox Game Pass Gets Luna Abyss and Three More Day-One Games This Month

The Wave 2 lineup for May 2026 includes eight new titles, half of which are Day One. The first of which is the long-delayed sci-fi first-person shooter Luna Abysswhich was originally scheduled for release in July 2023 but will now finally launch on May 21, 2026. Developed and published by British studio Kwalee, the game follows a prisoner condemned to explore a mysterious megastructure that holds the secrets of a long-lost civilization in an attempt to restore its technologies. The core of the game Luna Abyss alternates between fast-paced combat and platforming as players learn what happened to the residents of the fallen city of Greymont.

The newly announced lineup also confirms that sci-fi adventure Echo Generation 2 coming to Xbox Game Pass on May 27, marking the second Day One addition from this wave. It will be followed by crazy party racing game Crashout Crew and cozy bug collector Kabuto Park on May 28.
