It cannot be denied K-pop a giant that has taken the world by storm. Korean pop stars – also known as “idols” – have entered the music charts of every country on the planet thanks to the rapid development of the K-pop industry.

K-pop stars have some of the most loyal fan bases around. From BTS ARMY to Blackpink's Blinks, each fanbase has its own unique style and nickname. With a fandom as big as this, it's no surprise lots of K-pop stars have been recreated as Sims in The Sims 4 Gallery.

We'll be looking at ten particularly notable sims based on K-pop stars. These sims have managed to capture the image and essence of the idol in question perfectly and make great additions to one Sims 4 save file for K-pop fans.

10 Kim Ye-rim/Yeri From Red Velvet

However, Red Velvet is a girl group from South Korea that debuted in 2014 Yeri joined the following year in 2015. Yeri is the youngest of the bunch at 25 years old.

This Yeri Sim – made by cloneitsims – is a great choice for Red Velvet fans and Yeri fanatics, thanks to her accuracy. From the small but plump red lips to the stylish accessories, this sim captures Yeri's mood and youthful nature as well as her likeness.

Next up is Kim Chaewonmember of the girl group Le Sserafim. Le Sserafim is a relatively new K-pop group that debuted in 2022. However, this was not the first group that Chaewon was a part of. Before Le Sserafim, Chaewon was part of the K-pop and J-pop (Japanese pop music) combination group Iz*One. She's only 24, but she already has plenty of experience in the pop music scene.

Chaewon's style in Le Sserafim is often as the short-haired, edgier member, and this sim from Simmer Liacharm21 perfectly reflects one of her iconic looks. Along with capturing her features and clothes well, the sim also sports Chaewon's trademark dark bob with blonde highlights underneath.

8 Kwon Ji-yong/G-Dragon From BIGBANG

BIGBANG was a huge K-pop group during its active years, often regarded as one of the acts that helped spread the Korean wave overseas. They also tend to be dubbed the “Kings of K-pop”, acting as a precursor to BTS, another hugely influential K-pop boy group that will make two appearances later in this list.

All BIGBANG members had their solo ventures, incl Kwon Ji-yong, known by his stage name G-Dragon. G-Dragon is a highly successful singer, songwriter and rapper, as well as a business entrepreneur, fashion designer and record producer. He has a soft and charming aura, as well as a very fashionable nature. This sim from Simmer PsicodelicZombi captures this mood perfectly, while recreating his facial features well.

7 Choi Yeonjun/Yeonjun From TXT

Yeonjun is the oldest member of the boy band Tomorrow X Together — also known as TXT — even though he's still young at 25. Yeonjun trained with Big Hit Entertainment, also known for representing BTS, arguably the biggest and most influential boy band of all time. TXT has been a success since its debut in 2019, with tons of awards and hit songs under its belt.

This Yeonjun Sim was created by DragonFlyWing, and the striking features of the K-pop star have been wonderfully recreated. From his pouty lips to his “boy band curtains” hairstyle, this Yeonjun is a must for TXT fans.

6 Sana Minatozaki/Sana From TWICE

TWICE is a combination of K-pop and J-pop group that has nine members, including a Japanese and South Korean singer Sana Minatozaki. Sana has had various looks since TWICE debuted in 2015, but one of her most well-known appearances is her blonde cheerleader style from the music video for Cheer Up. That's the look this sim — made by Simmer emkoza — portrays, and she looks amazing.

Sana wears a cheerleading uniform, as she does in the music video. She also has a long blonde hairdo and her features have been recreated beautifully. There are plenty of sims modeled after the members of Twice in The Sims 4 Gallery, but this Sana Sim is one of the best.

5 Hwang Hyun-jin/HyunJin from Stray Kids

Stray Kids is an eight-member South Korean boy band that debuted in 2018. They have gained critical acclaim worldwide, with their songs appearing in soundtracks for big-budget projects such as Deadpool and Wolverine and the second season of Secret.

Hyunjin is one of the Stray Kids members, and although he has had several hairstyles and hair colors in the past, his blonde hair was a particularly popular style among his fans. This sim – made by cbunte01 – perfectly reflects Hyunjin's blonde bombshell era. His features are also well done, and the choices for his clothing and accessories are perfect.

4 Park Jimin/Jimin From BTS

BTS is not only a South Korean sensation, but they have become global superstars and respected and established musical artists since their debut in 2013. There are seven members in the group, and this Sim — from Simmer lmgfio — recreates Park Jiminone of the main dancers and singers of the group.

This sim recreates an iconic outfit that Jimin wore to an award ceremony, and lmfgio has done it pretty perfectly. From the color palette of the turtleneck and leather jacket combo to the side-swept hair, earrings, and even the makeup, this sim is a near-perfect take on one of Jimin's most eye-catching looks.

3 Roseanne Park/Rosé From BLACKPINK

BLACKPINK is a four-member South Korean girl group who – much like some of the other groups we've talked about – are considered leaders in the Korean wave. BLACKPINK debuted in 2016 and became an iconic K-pop group with several hit records and solo performances.

Roseanne Park — known as Rose — was born in New Zealand and raised in Australia, but is based in South Korea. Besides being a member of BLACKPINK, she has also had a successful solo career. This Sim of Rosé was made by Simmer Kreditsdue, and the design recreates her classic, blonde-haired look. K-pop stars are known to change their hair frequently, and while Rosé has had various other styles, her blonde hair has been a consistent look.

The Sim also recreates Rosé's soft features perfectly, to the point where the Sim's appearance is frighteningly accurate. BLAKPINK's popularity means there are plenty of Sims based on the girls in the Gallery, but this Rose Sim is an outstanding choice.

Lee Jeon – stage name IU – is a South Korean soloist and the only person on this list who is not part of a group, having always been a solo artist. She has achieved an incredible amount in her career, which began in 2008 when she was only 15 years old.

IU has been recreated here by Simmer BOKMOONSINJO, and the accuracy is impressive. The facial features are perfect, from the symmetry of her face to the shape of her nose and lips and even the amount of space between her eyes. Last but not least is another sim from BOKMOONSINJO, which has recreated Kim Taehyung from the aforementioned boy band BTS. Taehyung — known by his stage name V — is a well-established artist both within BTS and as a soloist.

V has a face that is hard to recreate because of how awesome he is. He often makes appearances or even tops lists of the most handsome men in the world, so it's easy to see why recreating him would be challenging. BOKMOONSINJO has managed to do it quite well though, capturing V's likeness to the fullest.
