Sailor Jupiter was the fourth Senshi to join Sailor Moon's group. From the very beginning, she stood out for her great physical strength, which made her a great asset in battles. Her attacks as a Senshi are also characterized by their immense power, standing out among all the powers of the Sailor Scouts.
Throughout the anime and other versions of Sailor Moonwe see Sailor Jupiter using different attacks. Which is the most powerful? This ranking places them on a power scale so you can discover her strongest technique.
The flower hurricane
Appears in Sailor Moon Manga, Sailor Moon Crystal, Sailor Moon Video Games, and Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon
An attack that is mainly used as a distraction and to stop the enemies. Other Senshi also possess this type of ability, as can be seen in Sailor Mercury's attacks. However, while Flower Hurricane is primarily used as a distraction, it also has some offensive abilities.
This is due to the sharpness of the leaves that Sailor Jupiter generates around her, which can be very dangerous to her enemies.
Jupiter Double Axis
Appears in various Sailor Moon video games
One of Sailor Jupiter's most distinctive traits in video games. It's not very powerful, but it's iconic. Taking advantage of her skating skills, which affect her personality and some of her other attacks, Sailor Jupiter spins while attacking.
Not only is it an offensive move, but it also gives her some protection against her opponents' attacks. It's hard to imagine it in the anime, but it's a classic in her repertoire. There are many other attacks that only appear in video games, although they are not as interesting or original. Jupiter Double Axel is special, and if you played games like Sailor Moon S: Jougai Rantou!? Shuyaku Soudatsusenyou will surely remember it.
Supreme Thunder
Appears in Sailor Moon Manga, Sailor Moon Original Anime, Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon, and Sailor Moon Crystal
Sailor Jupiter's first attack. It's an offensive move where she uses the power of thunder to electrocute her enemies. To summon the electricity, she uses her tiara, generating the electricity and then releasing it with force.
For her first attack, it is incredibly powerful. Its strength is on par with Sailor Jupiter's fighting capabilities, someone her friends can always rely on. This attack is standard in the original anime, the Crystal version, the live-action adaptation, and also appears in the musicals.
Supreme Thunder Dragon
Appears in Sailor Moon R Original Anime and Sailor Moon Video Games
In the original anime, it was common for the heroines to have more powerful versions of their main attacks. In Sailor Jupiter's case, this attack was Supreme Thunder Dragon.
However, it was not very popular and was only used in one episode, something that is difficult to understand today and may make it difficult to watch Sailor Moon 2026. The attack changes when it sends out electricity in the form of a dragon. Its power level is higher than Supreme Thunder, although it is not as powerful as other attacks that Sailor Jupiter developed later. As a fun fact, it's one of the moves Sailor Jupiter uses in Sailor Moon R games for Super Nintendo.
Sparkling wide print
Appears in Sailor Moon Manga, Sailor Moon R Original Anime, and Sailor Moon Crystal
The lightning rod that Sailor Jupiter has in her tiara once again becomes the source of her power. The Sparkling Wide Pressure attack is an evolution of her powers and the main ability that the character uses in Sailor Moon R.

Although Supreme Thunder was a very popular attack, Sparkling Wide Pressure was a hit with fans from the start. The reason is how spectacular it is. Sailor Jupiter charges electricity from the lightning rod, gathers it in her hands and shoots it up like an energy ball. The move is reminiscent of Sailor Moon's original attack, but with the brilliance and grandeur of electricity.
Super Supreme Thunder
Appears in Sailor Moon S Original Anime
Classic attacks are always the most popular, which is why more powerful versions appear. After Supreme Thunder and Supreme Thunder Dragon, the Super Supreme Thunder attack appeared in the original anime.
As expected, it is the most powerful version of Supreme Thunder. Unfortunately, it only appeared in one episode. It was a missed opportunity to give Sailor Jupiter a very powerful attack to defeat her enemies.
Jupiter Thunderbolt
Appears in Sailor Moon Manga, Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon, and Sailor Moon Crystal
A very popular attack in live action Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon. To use it, Sailor Jupiter uses her Sailor Star Tambourine, a powerful item given to her by Artemis. But in Crystal it looks different and without the item. In the anime, Sailor Jupiter charges energy in each of her hands using the lightning rod and fires it at the enemy.
In the Live Action version, Sailor Jupiter attacks with a powerful bolt of lightning that damages her enemies. There is an enhanced version where the attack uses an energy star to generate a high level of damage.
Jupiter coconut cyclone
Appears in Sailor Moon Manga, Sailor Moon Crystal, and in various Sailor Moon video games
One of the biggest surprises in Sailor Moon Crystalwhich also appears in the original manga and some video games, such as Sailor Moon Another Story. Additionally, the attack also appears in the opening of the original Sailor Moon S anime, but never in the story.
It also launches an energy ball similar to Sparkling Wide Pressure, but the ball is blue and is generated after spinning rapidly. Sailor Jupiter achieves a high spinning speed thanks to her experience in ice skating, one of Makoto Kino's most characteristic skills.
Jupiter Oak Evolution
Appears in Sailor Moon Manga, Sailor Moon Super S Original Anime, and Sailor Moon Eternal
With the Jupiter Oak Evolution, there is a significant change in Sailor Jupiter's attacks. Although Sailor Jupiter's powers have always been connected to electricity, with this attack she connects to the power of nature.
The reason for this connection lies in the fact that the kanji used in Japanese for the planet Jupiter is the same as the kanji for trees. This creates an interesting relationship that is explored in depth throughout the series and gives Makoto new powers. When Sailor Jupiter attacks with the Jupiter Oak Evolution, Sailor Jupiter fires a barrage of energy balls at her opponents.
Self-destruction
Appears in Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon
Sailor Jupiter's ultimate attack. For obvious reasons, it only exists in the live-action adaptation. With this attack, Makoto follows in the footsteps of Chiaotzu, the character from Dragon Ball who had one of the saddest deaths. Summoning the power of thunder, the heroine recharges her energy after grabbing her enemy from behind.
At that moment, she concentrates all the power of the thunder and directs it straight into her body, generating an extreme explosion. Unfortunately, this means she sacrifices herself to save her friends.
