After 4 years, One Piece introduces The Three Devil Fruits of Gods

With the official unveiling of Loki as Elbaph's warrior godand the provenance of Nerona Imu as bearer of Akuma no MiOne Piece has three official gods, all of whom will play a significant role in the climax of the Elbaph arc and the subsequent Great War that will follow later in 2026, according to Oda's own words.

In chapter 1179 of One Piecewhich was officially released on Manga Plus on April 6, 2026, Eiichiro Oda revealed another god-level Devil Fruit ability with the descent of Nerona Imu in the Elbaph arc. This ability is known as Akuma no Mi, or The Devil's Fruit. With the power of this fruit, Nerona Imu can transform into the devil himself, and this ability precedes all other Devil Fruit powers found in the world of One Piece. Unlike the other abilities, whose names are written in Kanji, Nerona Imus Akuma no Mi uses strict katakana, meaning that the name of the Devil Fruit actually represents the ability itself, and is much more special and possesses powers that are at a much higher level. As the king of the world, Nerona Imu has used this god ability to dominate the world for centuries.

Monkey D. Luffy's Sun God Nika Devil Fruit was officially introduced in Chapter 1044

While Loki and Imu hold two Devil Fruits that offer a God's power, the first of them all came in One Piece chapter 1044, thanks to Sun God Nika's revelation. In this chapter, Monkey D. Luffy's Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika officially woke up.

One Piece's Elbaph Arc is currently in its climax, and Chapter 1182 onwards will strictly focus on the practitioners of the three divine abilities. As things stand, Nerona Imu, who holds the power of the Devil God One Piece the world, and Loki, who has the power of Nidhoggr, fight each other.
