Next big update for Pokemon Legends: ZA is just around the corner and comes as Ranking Battles season 10 ends May 13 at 7pm PT/10pm ET. 10 seasons in, Pokemon Legends: ZA players are no doubt aware of how each season works, but they should be prepared for the upcoming reset to Rank Z.
However, for anyone currently immersing themselves in the game, it's worth mentioning that Ranked Battle Seasons typically last about three weeks. Pokemon Legends: ZA Ranking Battles Season 10 began on April 22nd, the same night that Season 9 ended, and the same can be expected for Season 11 on May 13th. When one ends, the other begins, and anyone who hasn't yet reached their goals should make sure they do. Season 11 will bring some changes in both directions.

It's officially the end of an era for Pokemon
The development of the Pokemon games has changed permanently, and for all its pros and cons, it is unlikely to be a temporary situation.

Meanwhile, of course, players get a reward for every battle they participate in and can get some Mega Stones while they're at it. Anyone who participated in Ranking Battles before the last season will already have most, if not all, of these, but they will no doubt be available in Season 11 as well. The exact lineup is to be determined, but if Pokemon Legends: ZA Season 9 and the Season 10 Mega Stones are any indication, it will likely be a repeat of the Greninjite, Delphoxite, Chesnaughtite, Baxcalibrite, Sceptilite, Swampertite, and Blazikenite stones.
The biggest change in Pokemon Legends: ZA Season 11?
What could potentially mean the biggest change in Pokemon Legends: ZA Season 11 is meta. Maybe season 11 will be a special meta/ranked Battles season similar Pokemon Legends: ZA Season 8, where players were more limited in which Pokémon could enter. It is possible, but uncertain. Season 10 only banned 7 Pokémon from Ranked Battles: Xerneas, Yveltal, Zygarde, Mewtwo, Kyogre, Groudon, and Rayquaza, some of which are from Pokemon Legends: ZAs Mega Dimensions DLC. It would be nice to see the meta shake up a bit more, especially since ranked battles are pretty stale at this point. Between repeated rewards and an established meta, something like a more exhaustive banlist would force players to be more creative.

Overall, it remains to be seen. But between finishing Season 10, beating Rank A (or whatever Rank you want), receiving those rewards, preparing/digging right into Season 11, and/or preparing a team for the new season's meta (hopefully), fans can expect a very busy May 13th. Until then, they have time to move on and finish it.
