Alongside the new Warlock and Paladin classes, and the new region of Skovos, Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred also introduces a new Mythic Unique to the game's rare gear pool. With access to Horadric Cube, equipment upgrade Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred has never been easier, and players can easily take a mediocre weapon and turn it into a powerhouse. But even converting affixes with the Horadric Cube won't do much for a classic Diablo 4 Mythic, which has been debased to the point of being practically useless on most builds and is far outclassed by the expansion's new Mythic.
Mythic Uniques are pretty much the best items in Diablo 4but they are also the rarest. Mythics are usually farmed from Lair Bosses at high Torment levels, or created with Resplendent Sparks at the Jeweler. IN Diablo 4 Season 13, getting Doombringer as a Mythic drop is one of the worst options a player can get, especially with the addition of El'druin Sword of Justice in Lord of Hatred.

One of the best Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred Warlock builds basically turns you into Pac-Man
Diablo 4 players can feel like they're playing Pac-Man with this powerful Lord of Hatred Warlock build that focuses on devouring enemies.
Doombringer is basically useless in Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred
When it comes to finding the best gear in the slot for a certain Diablo 4 build, Mythics will almost always outclass any legendary or unique gear the player has. However, there are a couple of myths that are underwhelming compared to their counterparts. Herald Nesekem, who was added Diablo 4: Ships of Hatehas historically been one of the worst mythics due to its subpar Unique affix and Spiritborn exclusivity. However, the updates to certain mythos in Lord of Hatred have pushed the Doombring One-Handed Sword down the rankings significantly.

Lucky Hit: Up to 40% chance to deal 1500 Shadow damage to surrounding enemies and reduce their damage by 25% for 5 seconds.
On the surface, Doombringer appears to have received a buff, as its Unique Affix now has a higher Lucky Hit chance to deal even more Shadow damage and reduces enemy damage by 5% more than before. But this buff to Doombringer's Unique Affix doesn't make up for the fact that its other affixes were seriously nerfed. Doombringer's previous +35% Maximum Life increase along with its Lucky Hit chance to heal over 2,000 Life were the main reasons to use this Mythic. Now that these have been greatly reduced, there are essentially no builds that would prefer this Mythic over the El'druin Sword of Justice as a one-handed weapon.

Defeating an Elite Pack reduces your Skill Cooldowns by 10 seconds for 12 seconds.
Lord of Hatred may have just introduced another new Mythic Diablo 4s list, but the El'druin Sword of Justice has already become one of the best mythic weapons in the game. El'druin gives 200 points to all stats, 40 points more than Doombringer, and the total increase of 3250 to Maximum Life is comparable to the 15% Maximum Life increase it also offers. In addition to these affixes, El'druin is also indestructible, so it does not need to be repaired Diablo 4's Blacksmith when it loses durability upon player death.
The most significant advantage El'druin has over Doombringer is its unique affix. Reducing the cooldown of all skills by 10 seconds is huge for builds like Aura Paladin that rely on skills with Cooldowns, and defeating a pack of Elites is pretty easy when running Pit or Nightmare Dungeons, giving this Mythic an effect that will trigger often. With this weapon now a possible Mythic drop, the days of placing a Doombringer in a build's weapon slot are likely over.
