  • You can summon your active mount by pressing up on the D-Pad (H on keyboard)

  • It doesn't matter how far away you are from your mount, as simply pressing up on the D-Pad will summon it.

  • The mount will instantly teleport behind you once summoned, allowing you to run it immediately.

How to change mounts in Crimson Desert

  • To change mounts, you must open the Character Wheel.

  • The The Character Wheel can be opened by holding up on the D-Pad.

  • From the character wheel, you can use the Right Stick to highlight your chosen mount.

  • You can exchange your mount for one of the legendary animalslike Silver Fang or White Bear, by selecting the horse and pressing R2/RT.

  • Once you've marked your chosen mount, it will become the active mount that you can summon at any time.

  • When it comes to changing horses, you need to visit the stable, which is located northeast of Hernand Town.

When it comes to summoning the dragon, you must instead highlight the dragon on the left with the right stick on the character wheel.

  • You can now go to any witch, like the one in the Witch Woods of Hernand, to select “Craft Abyss Gears”.

  • From “Craft Abyss Gears”, press R2/RT to open the “Special Item” tabwhere you can exchange the key item for a Sigil of Solidarity.
  • After obtaining a Sigil of Solidarity, enter your inventory and select “Key Items | Treasure”, where you can find the Sigil of Solidarity, which can be consumed.

  • This will now add the new mount to your Character Wheel.

Why can't I summon my mountain in Crimson Desert?

  • Patch version 1.04.00 by Crimson Desert had an unexpected bug where you couldn't summon your mounts.

  • This has since been fixed as of the 1.04.01 hotfix on April 23rd:

  • If you're still having trouble summoning your mount, make sure you give it enough space to spawn in.

  • Mountains cannot spawn in tight areas, nor can they spawn on top of Abyss Nexuses.

  • If one of the legendary mounts (non-horse) mounts cannot be summoned, then it is likely on a cooldown, as it may have been damaged.
