How to catch a Shadow Spray in Hello Kitty Island Adventure
Shadow Sprays can be hard to find as they will only spawn in City Town Sewers. Specifically, you will find them in the large room in the southeast corner of the sewers. This is the same room that has a large platform full of Squeakles.
There will be Shadow Sprays somewhere in the water in this room. The locations we've found them in include the northwest and southeast corners of the room, as well as under the southwest corner of the main platform.
They can be hard to spot in some places, so you can always try throwing the rod at different places in the room to see if you can find the Shadow Sprays that way.
Once you find them, they can be caught like any other fish. Cast your line, wait for a bite and reel like your life depends on it to catch your own Shadow Spray.

How to complete the Taiyaki Trials Quest
Like everyone else fishes in Hello Kitty Island Adventureplayers can add Shadow Sprays to aquariums in any home. This includes the rooms available in City Town's Rainbow Tower. Additionally, players can drop Shadow Sprays to one Fishing Well trying to get more Fwish themed furniture.
There is a unique use for Shadow Spray, as it is a key finishing item “Taiyaki Trials” applicant. Players must capture a Twilight Eye, a Coral Scouter, and then a Shadow Spray to give to Badtz-Maru. It is an important mission to complete because you will get Taiyaki recipe at the end.
Players must open the sewers through the “Above and Below” mission before they can unlock the “Taiyaki Trials”. They also have to go through some other Sewer-based quests first.
