The rare Nen category that one can end up in the world of Hunter x Hunter is the Specialization category. While other categories i Hunter x Hunter follow stricter rules and criteria, Specialization is where Togashi can have more fun and experiment with more creative abilities. Specialization is rare, and only a couple of characters belonging to this category have been revealed. Some of these characters are almost god-level, like Alluka Zoldyck, while others have interesting abilities but remain on the weaker side, like Pakunoda.

Main Focus Nen Ability: Psychometry, Memory Bomb
Specialization nen users are technically rare; but among the Phantom Squad there are actually two that fall into this category, one of which is Pakunoda. Pakunoda's specialization-based Nen ability allows her to work with memories. Her nen abilities, Psychometry and Memory Bomb, allow her to read memories and implant new ones into other people's heads.
Pakunoda is definitely one of the weakest specialization users out there. She is one of the weakest physically among the spiders, and her ability is more useful for information gathering. Pakunoda died during the York New Arc after sacrificing his life to provide important information to the Phantom Squad.
Morena Prudo

Main Focus Nen Ability: Contagion
Morena Prudo is a major antagonist who made his first appearance during the Succession Contest Arc. She's a complete mystery to anime viewers, but she's proven to be a great villain that many would already consider one of the best in Togashi's story.
Morena Prudo is a Specialization nen user, and while she's not the most combat-focused character, her ability Contagion makes her terrifying in a different way. Morena's Contagion allows her to build an army of Nen users who can level up and develop overpowered Nen techniques. Fans have yet to see her in a fight, but she is definitely talented and not someone to mess with. Her potential with this ability is terrifying.

Tserriednich Hui Guo Rou

Main Focus Nen Ability: Parallel Future
Tserriednich Hui Guo Rou is the fourth prince of the Kakin Kingdom. He is a character who has yet to appear in the anime, but he is a terrifyingly overpowered Specialization Nen user in Hunter x Hunter. Tserriednich is very talented and he was able to grasp the concepts of Nen extremely quickly, faster than even the likes of Gon and Killua.
With it, he was able to develop an ability that can see the future, known as Parallel Future. The more time passes, the more he can see into the future. He will become even more terrifying at the end of the Succession Contest arc. Of course, he is currently not the strongest, as he has yet to fulfill his full potential, but he is certainly on his way there.
Chrollo Lucilfer

Main Focus Nen Ability: Skill Hunter
Chrollo Lucilfer is the head of the Phantom Troupe in the Hunter x Hunter series. He was one of the very first Specialization users that fans got to meet in this series, and he's not only one of the best Specialization users out there, he's also one of the strongest characters in general.
Chrollo's major strength comes from his Nen ability, Skill Hunter. His ability allows him to summon a book where, once he fulfills certain steps, he can steal abilities. This makes Chrollo one of the most versatile characters in the entire series. He has proven his strength through several battles. He was able to take on Zeno and Silva Zoldyck, and he was even able to defeat and kill Hisoka in battle. He will only get stronger as he searches for Kakin's national treasures to gain a power boost.

Kurapika

Main Focus Nen Ability: Emperor Time, Stealth Dolphin
Kurapika is part of the main cast of Hunter x Hunter along with Gon, Killua and Leorio. Technically, Kurapika is not a Specialization Nen user. Usually, his affinity is actually Conjuration; but when his eyes turn scarlet he becomes a Specialization user.
Kurapika is incredibly skilled and chains are also quite versatile, possessing a wide range of abilities. He is particularly effective against members of the Phantom Squad. His specialization specific abilities include Stealth Dolphin and Emperor Time. While incredibly powerful, they also drain some of his lifespan.
Neferpitou

Main Focus Nen Ability: Doctor Blythe, Terpsichora (adopted)
Neferpitou was one of Meruem's royal guards as well as one of the main antagonists of the Chimera Ant arc i Hunter X Hunter series. Despite misconceptions, Pitou is actually the only known Chimera Ant to fall into the Specialization category, a class even Meruem does not fall into.
Among their royal guards, Pitou is undoubtedly the strongest, and when it comes to pure combat power, she is perhaps the strongest specialist out there. Pitou's nen abilities are related to puppetry. She has a few techniques that seem to stem from specialization for the most part. The type of Nen that Doctor Blythe is descended from has not been revealed, but it seems to involve Specialization, as it has shown the ability to heal pretty much anything. Pitou's Terpsichora ability, which she uses to enhance her own combat skills, also appears to be mixed with Specialization. Her overall combat ability makes her stronger than the vast majority of hunters, with only a handful, like Netero or Adult Gon, being strong enough to give her a fight. If she had lived longer, she could have become even stronger.
Alluka Zoldyck

Main Focus Nen Ability: N/A
In the world of Hunter x Hunter, Alluka Zoldyck has been possessed by a creature known as Nanika. Together, they are the very strongest users belonging to the Specialization category. In fact, it is also said by Togashi herself that she is the only nen master in the Specialization category. Her strength and power comes directly from the dark continent, with Nanika.
Not much is known about Nanika, but her power is so great that she can grant pretty much any wish asked of her, but for a price. With this power, Nanika was even able to heal Gon, someone no one else could heal after he sacrificed all his nen to take down Neferpitou. However, Alluka and Nanika do not have an exact Nen ability derived from Specialization yet. In the future, more focus will be placed on this incredible duo of characters, especially as Killua Zoldyck comes back into the story later. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like it will be anytime soon in the manga, considering the hiatuses and where the story is right now.
