My Hero Academia has its fair share of powerful characters with fire abilities. Depending on use, these fire properties can potentially cause widespread destruction, especially if their users are not well off. It is also quite difficult to stop or extinguish these fire difficulties, as some operate in extreme temperatures that can burn even the most seasoned heroes in My Hero Academia.
My Hero Academia: 7 Best Harmless Quirks, Ranked
Despite having no offensive capabilities whatsoever, these Quirks in My Hero Academia still stand out for their creativity and uniqueness.
Throughout the series, different refractory units stand out for their extreme temperatures, color, use, and overall level of destruction. Among these, these fire quirks are the strongest in My Hero Academiaburns brighter and hits harder than anyone else in the series. In fact, some of the users of these fire properties are well known for the devastating powers they possess.
Ignition
Quirk user: Moyuru Tochi
Ignition is the only quirk on this list that appears in My Hero Academia: Vigilantes through the previous villain, Moyuru Tochi. While Ignition is a cool name for a fire trait, it's not exactly a powerful name. In his base form, all it does is let Moyuru produce small, weak flames from his body, fitting for a small villain like him.
However, after Moyuru was affected by the Ideo Trigger, his Ignition immediately gained more power and became capable of producing larger, more destructive flames. Like most characters on this list, he can unleash flamethrowers, but not as strong as Endeavor, Shoto, or Dabi.
Hardflame fan
Quirk User: All For One
All For One has stolen quite a few quirks from the series, and Hardflame Fan is no different. However, the original owner of the fire trait remains unknown, making All For One the only identified user of the Hardflame Fan to this day. First used by AFO in the battle against Hawks and Endeavor in MHA episode 147, the fire quirk allowed AFO to protect himself from Endeavor's Vanishing Fist. Unlike the other zealots on this list, the Hardflame Fan is not an offensive quirk.
To put it simply, Hardflame Fan allows the user to create layers of firewalls to defend themselves from incoming attacks. In the anime, these walls were animated as liquid slime, but the manga depicts them as solid, rolling flames.
Outbreak
Quirk User: Volcano
Hailing from one of MHA's arcade games, Volcano, also known as Maguma Iwata, is a fiery user who seemingly looks like Endeavor with his blue suit, paired with gloves and boots. It's almost as if he was a game character designed around Endeavor's frame and appearance.
Meanwhile, Maguma's quirk is called Volcano, giving him the ability to shoot lava and magma from his body. The inner workings behind his quirk are also fascinating, much like how Fat Gum transforms his fat to unleash his attacks. In Maguma's case, he burns his fat to release lava and magma from his body.
Half cold Half warm
Quirk User: Shoto Todoroki
Possessing two elemental quirks simultaneously is Shoto Todoroki's greatest strength My Hero Academia. Unlike his father and brother, he can rely on his ice abilities and even combine them with his fire techniques when needed.
In fact, some of Shoto's most powerful techniques harness the power of both ice and fire, combining them to freeze and burn his opponents at the same time. His “cold fire” is exclusively for his personal use, making it a signature technique that proves his mastery of the quirks of fire and ice.
If we separate Shoto's fire nature from his ice nature, his fire is still strong enough to rival or even surpass his brother's and father's flames. Like them, he can burn anything or anyone he touches, unleash walls of fire, flamethrowers and the like.

Hellflame
Quirk User: Endeavour
Endeavor's mastery of its firepower is unmatched. His Hellflame may be weaker than Dabi's, but the variety of his fire techniques makes him a much more versatile fire user. From flamethrowers, heat beams, blankets of flame, and even flaming whirlwinds, the Endeavor has many offensive and defensive techniques at her disposal.
Endeavor can even construct fire weapons, such as fire arrows, harpoons, and the like, to attack his enemies. Endeavor is very proud of its flames. He refuses to be seen in public without his flames, treating them as a symbol of his power and status as a Pro Hero.
Depending on the power level of the opponents, Endeavor can simply adjust the temperature of his Hellflame. Those who push him to his limits can also witness how he can switch from red to blue flames just like Dabi. But overusing his flames can also slow him down, and at worst someone needs to cool him down before he can return to fighting.
Blueflame
Quirk User: Dabi
Of all the fire dough units in the series, Dabi has the most unique flames. After all, his fire is blue, making it hotter and stronger than everyone else's, including Endeavour. Using the Blueflame is also not for the faint of heart, as even Dabi himself could not sustain the burning effect of his flames during long battles, mostly due to the genes he inherited from his mother.
Despite this, Dabi is ruthless enough to beat up Blueflame just to finish off Endeavor and satisfy his anger. The more anger his heart holds for Endeavor and everyone in general, the more powerful his Blueflame becomes. In fact, his flames can even burn Endeavour, despite the latter's massive resistance to fire, proving just how dangerous Dabi's flames are.
When Dabi's enemies are unleashed on opponents without fire resistance, they often die instantly, leaving behind nothing but ash and charred marks. A single thrust in the back can ignite a target at once, while a simple flamethrower or low wave can burn multiple targets regardless of distance to Dabi.
