IN ARC RaidersThe Damage ARC Raiders in Old Town Trials challenge can be a little tricky to figure out, more so if you don't know the exact location where the damage you deal to enemies counts as points. In this guide, players will discover the fastest way to complete this challenge, along with some tips on how to rack up even more points, and even complete several of the trial's objectives at the same time. But first, let's take a look at where Old Town is located ARC Raiders.
How to complete damage ARC Enemies in Old Town Trials Challenge
Old Town is located in the central-southern zone of the Buried Citybetween Collapsed Highway and Church Ruins, and as players can see on the map above, that's quite a large zone to cover. So on complete the challenge 'Damage ARC Enemies in Old Town' Trials, players must be standing in this demarcated area when they damage the ARC to begin scoring.
Now, there are two other interesting challenges that have dropped with this one: Damage Vaporizers and Damage Wasps, and all of them, including the Old Town challenge, can easily be completed in Major Map Condition: Close review.
When players see that there is a close survey map state in Buried City, it's time to prepare: Bring a Hullcracker, some Wolfpacks if you can afford it, or Seeker Grenades.
Make sure you have a backup weapon, like a Cleanand enough ammo for both. Light Shields are not recommended, as vaporizers literally do what their name implies: vaporize your shields in seconds. Medium and Heavy Shields are the way to survive this attack.
Be careful and bring lots of healing items, as the loot in Close Scrutiny is fixed to 'ARC Loot' and things like rubber parts and cloth are scarce. Watch out for Combat Supply Drops, which appear in the area with each Assessor deployment, but be quick, these are available to all players, and there's a good chance they'll be targeting these supplies at the same time as you.
Now wait until one of the assessors lands in Old Town, and try to find a vantage point. It must be on high or low ground with a clear view of the Assessor (as it is the spawn zone for many ARC enemies, including Rocketeers and Vaporizers). The subway is fine, but be sure to watch out for the vaporizers and rocketeers that walk around you and shoot you in the back.

Wait for players to aggro and summon the enemies (when they break the assessor), then start shooting those vaporizers from the sky. Hullcracker will help you rack up points really fast, and noxious vaporizers will complete two of the challenges for this trial week at the same time.
Meanwhile, players can also destroy Wasps using the Hullcracker (in one hit) when inside the Old Town area, which will add points to 'Harm wasps' Trial challenge. In this way, players can complete three of the challenges at once. But the most important will still be the Old Town challenge, which can double its total score at the end of the match (since the closer inspection is a large map state).
Wolpack's and Searching grenades is a decent way to clear out when too many swarming enemies are coming at you at once. Players need to be especially careful with fireflies and hornets, which are a really bad matchup when vaporizers are lurking around. If wasps, hornets, and fireflies come in trios to attack you, Seeker Grenades are the best (and cheapest) option to deal with them before they can shatter your shields and leave you vulnerable.
With a bit of luck, players can earn between 12000 and 27000 points before the timer runs out and they have to extract. On that note, having a Raider's Hatch Key is a great way to get as many points as possible and safely extract at the last minute.
