The Armor of the Shadows set is one of the coolest and most sought after sets in the Crimson Desert, and arguably one of the most difficult to obtain in its entirety. Don't worry, there is a very easy method to find this exhibit out in the wild, and it just requires you to travel to a few hidden locations.
If you want the full armor set with the helmet included, then unfortunately you will have a much more difficult challenge ahead of you. But if you don't mind sticking with a cool helmet from another set, like the Frostcursed Armor, then you can get the other four pieces without fighting.
Where to find the armor from the shadows in the wild
The easier way to find the Armor of the Shadows set is off adventure to four places and loot hidden treasure chests.
However, the only downside is that you can't loot the helmet for the set this way; you must complete the more difficult method, which we will explain later.
How to get the plate gloves of the shadows
Go to far west side of Hernand, northwest of Spire of Stars, approaching Everfrost section of the map. This area is southwest of the “H” in “Hernand” on the map.
You have to find the entrance to the cave cut into the rock, on a wide ledge overlooking most of the eastern view.
If you begin to be diverted away from the region due to the storm, you have gone too far north.
Everfrost Cave is about halfway down the mountain.
Once you find the entrance, go inside, where you will slide and slide through the cave due to the ice. Go to the back of the cave to claim Gloves of the Shadows.

How to get the plate boots of the shadows
From the last bit in Everfrost Cave, go northeast and follow the water until you see a river.
Continue northeast along the river until you come to a large waterfall.
Use the Stab skill (RB/R1 + Y/Triangle) to rush through the rushing water from the waterfall into a hidden cave. This is Frostclaw Cave.
Approach the back of the cave and claim Refined Palmer Pill and the other piece of armor, the Plate Boots of the Shadows.

How to get plate armor from the shadows
This next piece is just north of the river above the “H” in “Hernand” on the map.
Approach you Everfrost Watch Tower and look for the plateau where there are a bunch of tents set up, but don't get too close.
Look for a cave entrance just southwest of the watchtower with a gate blocking the way.
Turn on the lamp next to the entrance, and the pointed gate opens.
Enter the small room and open the chest to receive one Palmer Pill and that Plate Armor of the Shadows.

How to get the plate coat of shadows
Then go to Hönmark's ruins.
This area is also home to the boss that rewards the full armor set in one fell swoop, but for now we just want to complete the set (minus the helmet) without fighting an incredibly hard boss.
Go slightly west of the ruins to the roof of a stone building. You will notice a strange patch of rock on the top.
Crouch down and use Force Palm to knock the rock down and reveal a hidden entrance to a secret room.
Loot the chest here to acquire Plate Mantle of Shadows, then light the fire to open the spike gate leads out of the room.

How to get the complete armor of shadow set
If you want to collect the full Armor of the Shadows set, you must reach chapter 7, then go back to the Hoenmark Ruins, where you will meet Beloth, the Darksworn.
There is an aspiration for House Lanford called White Blizzard, which is associated with fighting this enemy, but you can skip it and fight him directly if you are impatient.
If you are going to face Beloth, you must come prepared and ready to use every tool at your disposal to win, including some armor with ice resistance, such as Frostcursed Set, to survive.
As you approach the area, the game even tells you that some powerful creatures in the world require significant preparation.
Beloth, The Darksworn Cheese Strategy
The easiest way to beat Beloth is by cheesing him using the pillars around the arena.
You should bring a powerful two-handed sword, like Darkbringer, to ensure you do enough damage to finish this fight in a reasonable amount of time.
The Darkbringer tracks down Ator's Orb the ability is especially useful for dealing extra chip damage to Beloth.
Poison darts are also helpful.
When you are done with the preparations a powerful weapon, the Frostcursed Armor set, and lots of food objects and Palmer pillsthe cheese strategy is simple.
Cheesing Beloth is all about doing these things perfectly:
- Immediately run to a pillar when the battle starts, avoid Beloth's attacks.

Stand a few meters away from the pillar and wait for Beloth to approach.
- Ignore the floating enemies that appears. They usually won't attack much, except for dropping ice from the sky, which is easy to avoid.

Point out and bait Beloth closer to the pillar, and wait until he's around the corner.

When Beloth appears, unleash your Turning Slash and retreat immediately to the other side of the pillar and keep it between you and Beloth.
- Restore focus as needed with LS/L3 +RS/R3. This is also coming slow down time so you can avoid Beloth when he rounds a corner.
- Repeat this process until Beloth is defeated. It will take a significant amount of time unless you are not level enough.
Beloth can teleport, and some attacks, like his Ice Slam, will knock you through the pillar if you are pressed against it.
Keep an eye on your freeze at the bottom left of the screen; you can and will periodically be frozen solid.
Don't get greedy or you will die every time. Beloth does not play.
If you can beat this monstrosity, you will a quest marker to claim their full armor set.
Follow your marker into the nearby ruins and pick up Helmet to earn the entire Armor of the Shadows set at once.
After all the hard work it took to defeat Beloth, you will be rewarded with the Plate Helm of the Shadows.
