God Valley is one of the most chaotic events ever to happen in the series. It had all the big names of the day present, and one of them was Whitebeard. During the gut-wrenching Native Hunting Game that was going on, Imu made her appearance, which shook the entire island. The pirates were not easily scared and fought back by launching a combined attack on Imu, which barely hurt them. Later, Whitebeard confronted Imu again along with his crewmates, and he eventually survived to fight another day.

Kaido

Kaido in his younger days was a crew member of the Rocks Pirates and witnessed the power of Imu in all its glory. Kaido's main goal was to steal a Devil Fruit for himself, and he achieved that by acquiring the Uo Uo no Mi, Model: Seiryu. He also helped Rocks in his fight against Imu. But when Rocks was turned into a puppet by Imu, Kaido was shot by him. Kaido's fate after what happened was cut out, but he somehow survived the ordeal.

The Straw Hats did their best but were ultimately saved by the Giants. To be specific, Dorry and Brogy risked their lives to save the Straw Hats and tried to keep Imu at bay. Sabo became a very important character in the final saga of the story and he was also one of the first to see Imu. When Imu confronted King Cobra about his ancestor, Sabo witnessed the whole thing and was shocked to see someone sitting on the empty throne. He waited to gather information and jumped in front of the demons when Cobra's life was in danger. Sabo tried to save him but failed, and he only survived because of Cobra's heroic sacrifice. This not only helped the Revolutionary Army uncover a huge secret, but also helped them prepare for the upcoming final battle.

Big mom

Big Mom entered the battle in the God Valley to claim the prized Devil Fruits. These fruits were supposed to be the reward for the winner of the game that happened there. It was here that Big Mom came face to face with Imu, who controlled the Rocks. There wasn't much fighting between them. Big Mom launched a Conqueror's Haki attack at Imu, and then Rocks overpowered her with a single punch that knocked her unconscious. It is still unknown how she escaped from that island while Imu was still present there.

The pirate king was no stranger to life-threatening situations. Among the many fights he fought, one that stood above the rest was the God Valley Incident. That's where Roger came to save Shakky, and while he succeeded, he took on some dangerous enemies. Roger teamed up with Garp to end Rock's misery, who asked them to kill him. The fight was intense, but both eventually came out on top and granted Xebec's wish before being saved by Rayleigh and Gaban from the Holy Knights.

Loki had a very troubled past and had to endure a tough upbringing where he was not even accepted by his own mother. But fate had other plans for him, and he became one of the few characters who had defeated a holy knight and became crucial to the story of the final saga.

14 years ago, Harald ordered Loki to eat the legendary Devil Fruit from Elbaf, and he wasted no time in doing so. Once he ate it, Loki was able to overpower an Imu-controlled Harald with no problem. This makes him one of the few to have survived an indirect encounter with Imu. He later fought the Imu head-on in Elbaf and managed to freeze them.

Garp was present in God Valley to bring Roger to justice, but his plan changed when Imu appeared. After Rocks was turned into a demon by Imu, both Roger and Garp put their grievances aside to fight this common enemy.

The battle that followed was incredibly difficult and took every ounce of strength in their bodies. Afterwards, they didn't even have the energy to stand up. Instead, they were whisked away to safety by Rayleigh and Gaban.
