Fortnite Showdown brings a bunch of new content for players to jump into, from crazy items to new POI updates, like the arrival of the Frigid Fortress, to a massive Battle Pass packed with new rewards. With new locations also comes a variety of secret ways to get loot, including more vaults, hidden rooms and easter eggs scattered across the island. Here you will find every single one.
How to buy XP in Fortnite
Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2 now allows players to purchase a limited amount of XP per day, but not with real currency or V-Bucks. This is how you do it.
Sandy Strip Race
Over at the Sandy Strip on the north sidecan you find two guaranteed cars that can be used to trigger a race minigame in Battle Royale. This requires two players to activateand if both players get into each car and wait a few moments, the light in front of the cars will start flashing, triggering the race when it turns green.
Reaching the finish line will spawn a bunch of different items, including the chance to get the Mythic Apex Thunder Burst SMG.
Squibbly Shores four key cards
Many players who drop by Squibbly Shores may have noticed a keycard scanner by the location's lighthouse. The Lighthouse Keycard required for the scanner may actually be fished from a unique blue fishing pool which spawns in a random location around the lighthouse. Once you have it, take it back to the lighthouse and interact with the scanner to earn some free loot.
Guaranteed Supply Llama
Far north of Battlewood Boulevardthere is a purple farmhouse on the hillside. If players go here and open the stable, they can find a guaranteed Supply Lama. This Supply Llama works just like the loot caches of old, rewarding players with at least one epic or legendary weapon, gold, heals and materials when mined with a pickaxe.
Curling mini game
Away by the Frigid Fortress, just west of the site's Zero Point Shardplayers can find a Curling mini-game. For those who do not know the rules of the game, the goal is to push the included cones into the zone on the opposite side of the ice.
Players will have several turns to do this, with the aim of get as many cones as possible into the orange zone to score points. Once the mini-game is over, several loot items will drop from the cannons near the cones, giving the players the chance to earn some free legendary loot.
Ice King's & Seven Compound Vault
The last two loot secrets are two vaults, one of which can be found at Frigid Fortressand the other at Seven Compoundaccessed by going down the underground bunker instead of the vault from the previous season.
Both locations are currently locked, with both unlocking towards the end of Act I when players earn 1.7 billion Rival Victories for Team Foundation and Team Ice King. In both vaults, players can find several guaranteed Rare Chests and Slurp Barrelswith the Seven Compound Vault also containing the Mythic Seven Power Gloves.

Looper's Leap
Looper's Leap has stuck around this season and so players can still get some free loot from it. To do that, take any car and drive down the Looper's Leap ramp away on the far north side of the New Sanctuary. When you reach the other side, a bunch of free items are spawned, including the chance to get the Mythic Brute Nemesis AR.
Ripped Tides 515KG Barbell
Another returning secret is the 515KG barbell that players can lift over at Ripped Tides. Attempting to lift this barbell by default takes two minutes. But dotted around the place are steaks, and if players collect four of the six, they can immediately lift the bar.
Lifting the barbell will reward players with some random loot, often with a high chance of a legendary item.
Wonkeeland Zip Zonk Bang mini game
Wonkeeland also sticks to Fortnite Showdown, along with the Zip Zonk Bang Mini Game that players were first introduced to in Season 1. This mini game exists near the center of the POI and can be is started by pressing the button right in front of the shooting range.
From here, shoot the ghosts that appear at regular intervals to score points while avoiding hitting the Wonkee mascot's faces, as they deduct points. When the mini-game is over, depending on your score, you will get a bunch of free loot. Players can also repeat this minigame twice.
Unstable element vaults
The Unstable Element is still an item players can get to unlock the vaults at the various Collider corridors in Fortnite Settlement. To get the item, teleport between different tunnels for a chance to receive it. Once you have it, go to a vault inside the corridor with the unstable element in hand to open it and get a guaranteed rare chest.
Mezzo-Piano Tunnel Secret Root Room
Since the Mezzo-Piano Tunnel (east of Dark Dominion) is stuck Fortnite Showdown, players can still access the secret swap room at this location. This room can be found at the base of the ziplines leading down to the tunnel from the hill, with players who can access it by breaking the wall behind the coral buddies sitting on top of a pile of boxes.
Inside this changing room, you can find several chests, a guaranteed Rare Chest and Slurp Barrels. There is also a Port-a-Potty here that will take you back to the ziplines at the top of the hill.
