Many requests have been adjusted to help players better understand what they need to do to proceed. For example, improvements have been made to both the “Rock Smash your way to treasure!” and “To Snorlax!” requests. Both of these requests had confused players, as placing blocks over the cracked blocks near Hitmonchan and Snorlax, respectively, would make it harder to understand how to proceed. While the patch notes didn't specify what changes were made here, newcomers and those who haven't yet reached these requests should be able to navigate through them more easily.
Furthermore, a number of bugs have been fixed. The fixes include a change to the “Help Create a Home!” in the Withered Wasteland, where there was a chance for Squirtle to move to the top of a tree and then could no longer be spoken to. Another such example was in “Find the Pokemon Center!” where, depending on the sequence of actions, Professor Tangrowth may not make a bridge repair request. Similar fixes have been implemented to face Rotom in Rocky Ridges. Fixes and adjustments have been made to make it easier to progress through the “Find Pokemon Center!” request and “Clear the way!” in Rocky Ridges. Spinarak also had errors typing in the Pokedex, which has now been fixed. This is already the second update the game has received, and keeps a promise the developers shared earlier. Earlier in March, Pokemon Pokopia promised to change many bugs and issues, which have now been fixed.
With any luck, this update should smooth out some of the rough spots in the game and make it easier for players to continue progressing through the title. Although the game has been extremely popular, there are still a few minor things that players may have found stumbling blocks, or just plain unclear. For example some Pokemon Pokopia players carefully watered every single plant in the game, only to find that when it rains, the plants are automatically watered.
Pokemon Pokopia has plenty to keep players busy, with around 300 different types of Pokemon to discover and tons of content. But it's also likely that the game will eventually get DLC. While some players have been hoping for Johto Pokemon Pokopiaothers believe they have discovered hints that players may eventually gain access to the Sevii Islands. A note found in the game suggests that the islands are a particularly good place to visit for rare Pokemon encounters. So far, no official announcements have been made, but considering the popularity the game has experienced so far and the blessing it has brought to Nintendo, chances are that players will just have to wait.
