One Piece Anime will return in April 2026

The One Piece anime will only release 26 episodes per year, and they will be split into two courses. The decision to make the anime seasonal has been praised by most, as it will allow the staff at Toei Animation to rest properly. Ever since the Egghead arc began, the quality of the anime has been incredible.
The staff has ensured that all episodes are top rated. Such quality naturally requires a lot of effort, which is not possible if the staff is overworked.
When the anime finally returns in April 2026, it will adapt the Elbaf arc. Each episode will adapt at least one chapter. Hopefully there will be new sound effects, as the previous ones are quite outdated. Whether or not Toei Animation will make the change is currently unknown.
One Piece Live Action Season 2 is available to stream on Netflix.
