Week 20 of attempts in ARC Raiders has brought a new addition to its challenge pool: Dealing damage to Flying ARC enemies inside the walls of the space gate. The problem is that this challenge is pretty vague and doesn't really explain what players need to do to complete it.
This guide will tell players how to complete the Shoot Flying ARC Enemies Inside Spaceport Walls challenge without any problems. From the best weapons that deal more damage, to secret tips to clear this Trials challenge faster than any other Raider.
ARC Raiders: Lost in Transmission Quest Guide (Spaceport Control Tower Key)
The Lost in Transmission in ARC Raiders requires players to visit Control Tower A6 and use the Spaceport Control Tower Key to restore the connection.
How to complete the Damage Flying ARC Raiders Inside Spaceport Walls Challenge
The first thing players need to know to complete this challenge is that the area where they need to actively hunt flying ARC enemies is located in a specific zone on the spacegate map.
Then, players should locate the exclusion zone (that is, the area bounded by a perimeter wall) inside the spaceport, using the Launch Towers as a reference, go on a diagonal line from the back of the towers, near the Trench, and then surround most of the inner perimeter of the map. Some walls have been taken down (especially in the area where the queen appears), but the enemies shot in that zone still count towards the challenge.
Avoid the rocket assembly and control tower A6 building areassince that zone is outside the perimeter, stay near the Launch Tower zone, near the Departure and Arrival Buildings, and you'll complete it in no time.
The ideal map state to complete this trial challenge and get extra points is during the Launch Tower Lockdown event, where lots of flying ARC enemies appear near the launch towers and players can get lots of kills there.
ARC Raiders Dam Controlled Access Zone Key Guide (Location)
The Dam Battlegrounds Controlled Access Zone has a new Loot Rom that can be opened with a key. Here's how to find it and use it.
Watch out for the three Rocketeers playing in tandem, or the jumpers patrolling the surrounding areas, and for mean players looking to take advantage of the Launch Tower puzzle event to score some easy kills.
Did you know that using a Hornet Drive is enough to take down a Rocketeer? Just target the propeller when they're in patrol mode, throw a Hornet Driver at it, then approach and hit the propeller with the pickaxe, and it's over for the Rocketeer.
Players can use either Clean or the one Hole cracker to get as much out as possible, but there's an even faster way to do this, and that's by using some handy and cheap Seeker Grenades. These cost 2x Arc Alloy and 1x Crude Explosives to craft, and players can farm lots of these materials by killing Pops and Fireballs, or just scavenging what other players defeat.
In no time, they can fill up an entire warehouse with Searching grenadeswhich is enough to cause fatal damage to most wasps, hornets and fireflies.
Now, for Rocketeersplayers will want to use the Hullcraker or a Wolpack Grenade, but it's not really a cost-effective option to complete this challenge. It's more profitable to combine cleaning shots with Seeker grenades, and players can score up to 20,000 points in a good run if they're careful and don't die to any rogue players or the nasty Rocketeers and Leapers prowling around the inner walls of the spaceport.
