They may have started as a ragtag group, but Luffy's Straw Hat Pirates have grown into one of the most well-known crews of modern times. After facing plenty of challenges and embarking on adventure after adventure, the Straw Hats have earned a reputation for their various exploits.
With all that notoriety comes a little extra attention from the world government. In total, the 10 Straw Hat crew members have collected a bounty of 8,816,001,000 Berry. A lot of that falls on Luffy's shoulders, but the rest of the crew have earned big wins (except for poor Chopper) in their own right. Here's a look at some of the highest straw hat wins to date.
Franky — 394,000,000 Berry
The Straw Hat shipwright is definitely one of the flashiest crew members on the ship. Franky's massive personality overshadows the various modifications that make him such a valuable asset in battle. As goofy as he can be, Franky has come at quite a price since joining the crew.
Franky received a reward of 44,000,000 Berry after the Enies Lobby incident, and it increased to 94,000,000 Berry after Dressrosa, and finally increased by a whopping 300,000,000 Berry after the raid on Onigashima. With everything going on at Elbaf, you can bet Franky and the rest of the Straw Hats will see their bounties increase.
Usopp — 500,000,000 Berry
He's often relegated to comic relief, so it's strange to see Usopp actually have one of the higher active rewards among the Straw Hat team. That's not to say he hasn't earned it, but he often plays a supporting role, letting the crew's monster trio and other crewmates take on the more challenging enemies.
Usopp started with a 30,000,000 Berry bounty after Enies Lobby, with his alter ego, Sogeking, got the World Government's attention for burning the World Government's flag and attacking Spandam. Usopp would finally be officially recognized after Dressrosa, when his reward went up to 200,000,000 Berry and his face was used on his wanted poster instead of Sogeking's mask. Like almost every other Straw Hat, Usopp's reward increased by 300,000,000 Berry after the Raid on Onigashima, bringing it up to 500,000,000 Berry.
Nico Robin — 930,000,000 Berries
The monster trio often garners the most attention of all the Straw Hat crew members due to their incredible strength and accomplishments in taking down some of the toughest pirates around. But no one is more important to the Straw Hat team's goal of finding One Piece than Nico Robin.
Before joining the crew, Robin was carrying around a 79,000,000 Berry bounty due to what happened on Ohara and her ability to read poneglyphs. Robin surprisingly didn't see her reward increase that much after Enie's Lobby, as it only went up to 80,000,000 Berry. After Dressrosa, Robin's reward went up to 130,000,000, but it really increased after the raid on Onigashima. Robin received one of the more significant increases to her bounty after Wano, with an additional 800,000,000 Berry added to her existing bounty.
Sanji — 1,032,000,000 Berries
One of the Straw Hat crew's infamous Monster Trio, Sanji plays an important role in keeping everyone on the ship fed. But he is even more valuable on the battlefield, often taking on some of the stronger foes the Straw Hats encounter.
Sanji would earn a 77,000,000 Berry reward after Enie's Lobby, although his wanted poster humorously included a sketch that looked nothing like Sanji. After Dressrosa, Sanji's reward rose to 177,000,000 Berry with a “living only” condition, due to his father, Vinsmoke Judge's interference. After Sanji's relationship with Germa 66 was revealed during what happened on Whole Cake Island, his reward rose to 330,000,000 Berry. Sanji's actions during the raid on Onigashima earned him one of the highest rewards on the crew, rising to 1,032,000,000 Berry after Wano.
Jinbe — 1,100,000,000 Berry
Jinbe may be the newest addition to the Straw Hat team, but the former Warlord of the Sea was infamous long before he joined Luffy and the rest of the gang.
Jine received a 76,000,000 Berry bounty while a member of the Sun Pirates. It got as high as 250,000,000 Berry but was made inactive when he agreed to become a Warlord. After leaving his position, Jinbe's reward nearly doubled, jumping to 438,000,000 after he helped Luffy and the Whitebeard Pirates during the Marineford Arc. Jinbe received one of the most significant increases in his bounty of all the Straw Hat crew members after the raid on Onigashima, with it currently at 1,100,000,000 Berry.
Zoro — 1,111,000,000 Berries
Luffy's right-hand man and considered by many to be the second strongest Straw Hat, Zoro already had a solid reputation as a pirate hunter before being recruited by Luffy. Zoro and Luffy, the first Straw Hat to join the crew, have come a long way together, though he's still far from matching the huge price on the captain's head.
After taking down Daz Bones in Arabasta and the 100 bounty hunters in Whiskey Peak, Zoro receives a 60,000,000 Berry bounty. It doubled after Enies Lobby, making Zoro a Super Rookie and placing him in the ranks of the worst generation along with his captain. Zoro's bounty shot up to 320,000,000 Berry after Dressrosa and went all the way up to an impressive 1,111,000,000 Berry after Wano.
Luffy — 3,000,000,000 Berries
The leader of the Straw Hat Pirates, it's no surprise that Luffy has the highest reward of all his crew members. Luffy has done some insane feats throughout his quest to become the Pirate King and find the One Piece. As it stands, Luffy and his Devil Fruit are one of the biggest threats to the World Government's stranglehold on the world, and his reward reflects that.
Luffy received his first reward of 30,000,000 Berry after defeating Arlong and beating up Nezumi, along with the rest of the crew at the time. When Luffy had taken down Arlong, Buggy and Don Krieg, he had received the highest reward in East Blue. Luffy's reward rose to 100,000,000 Berry after he took down Crocodile and saved Arabasta, although his efforts were diminished by the World Government. After Enies Lobby, Luffy's reward was tripled, and he was recognized as a Super Rookie and a member of the Worst Generation. After beating Gecko Moria, beating a World Noble, breaking into Impel Down, being revealed as Monkey D. Dragon's son, and fighting in the Summit War of Marineford and ringing the Ox Bell, Luffy's reward rose to 400,000,000 Berry. Which isn't much considering how much he did to earn it. Luffy's reward increased by another 100,000,000 Berry after Dressrosa and increased to 1,500,000,000 Berry after Whole Cake Island. When Luffy was recognized as one of the Four Emperors after what happened in the raid on Onigashima, his reward increased to 3,000,000,000 Berry, the lowest of all active and former emperors. With what's going on at Elbaf, you can expect Luffy's already ridiculous bounty to skyrocket.
