Nintendo fans will be treated to a new presentation this week, as the gaming giant confirmed that an Indie World Showcase will air on Tuesday, March 3. The upcoming Nintendo broadcast will focus on indie titles coming to the Switch and Switch 2 throughout 2026 and beyond, meaning that first-party games from Nintendo and major developers will not appear during the show.
The upcoming Indie World Showcase comes one month after the February 5th Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase went live. The previous Partner Showcase shared a glimpse of third-party titles launching on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 throughout 2026, including ports for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, Digimon Story: Time Strangerand Pragmatics. Indie titles like Hollow Knight and Valheim was also present in the Partner Showcase. The final episode of the Indie World Showcase aired in August 2025, giving Nintendo fans a look at titles like Mine the Hollower, Glacialand UFO 50.

What could be shown during the Indie World Showcase?
