Devil Fruit Awakenings are one of the strongest powers any individual can exhibit in the world One Piece. Those who wield the power of the Devil Fruits are granted incredible abilities, be it a logia, a Zoan, or a Paramecia. These powers are incredible in themselves and help the user in a variety of ways. In some rare cases, Devil Fruit powers can actually be taken beyond their limitations, which is a unique state known as awakening. So far in One Pieceonly a handful of characters have managed to awaken their Devil Fruits and those have reigned as some of the very strongest characters in the entire series. Some Devil Fruit awakenings may seem underwhelming, but most of them are very overpowered, and some are even strong enough to destroy the entire world.

Ushi Ushi no Mi, Model: Giraffe Awakening
When it comes to the weaker Devil Fruit awakenings, Ushi Ushi no Mi, Model: Giraffe is surely one of them. This Devil Fruit belongs to none other than Kaku from CP0, and it allows him to transform into a giraffe and a giraffe-human hybrid. When he showed off his powers on Egghead, it was clear that Kaku had managed to awaken his Devil Fruit abilities, making him overall stronger and taking his physical attributes to a whole new level.
Even so, Kaku was unable to even push Zoro into serious combat, suggesting that his Devil Fruit awakening could only do so much for him due to the fruit's underwhelming nature.

Neko Neko no Mi, Model: Leopard Awakening
Neko Neko no Mi, model: Leopard eaten by none other than Rob Lucci. After the time jump, Lucci had managed to awaken this Devil Fruit, taking its power to a whole new level. It goes without saying that Lucci is incredibly strong. However, his Devil Fruit awakening is still quite underwhelming compared to some others. It gives him a unique leopard transformation, which elevates his physical prowess to the absolute highest level.
Lucci was able to compete with Gear 5 Luffy temporarily with his awakening, and against Zoro he was able to fight on equal terms. It's not the strongest of the Devil Fruit awakenings but still an impressive one. .

Ito Ito no Mi Awakening

Ito Ito no Mi is one of the most powerful Devil Fruits when it comes to the Paramecia class. This Devil Fruit allows the user to produce strings that are sharper than swords, and it even gives them the ability to control enemies like puppets. These strings are usually invisible to the naked eye and only when one knows the Devil Fruit's true ability can they be focused on.
The strings of Ito Ito no Mi become even stronger when the Devil Fruit is awakened. Doflamingo can turn everything around him into strings with his powers, making him incredibly deadly, just like all Paramecia awakenings. This fruit allows Doflamingo to attack his enemies from all sides and even hold them back completely. Only strong abilities can break through these strings, but if forced with strong enough Haki, it becomes absolutely impossible to fight.

Mochi Mochi no Mi Awakening
When it comes to the impressive Devil Fruit Awakenings, the special Paramecia Mochi Mochi no Mi certainly ranks among the strongest. This Devil Fruit allows Katakuri, the strongest Sweet Commander of the Big Mom Pirates, to turn into mochi, produce it and manipulate it as well.. Once awakened, Katakuri can turn all his surroundings into mochi, and this becomes a killing ground for his enemies. Using Mochi's power, Katakuri is able to completely immobilize his enemies and then even suffocate them. He can also hold them back completely and then use his powers to end the battle in seconds.

When Katakuri fought Luffy, his awakening was actually quite underutilized as Oda had to find some way for Luffy to win the fight. Had Katakuri gone all out with his Devil Fruit Awakening, he would have easily won the battle

Jiki Jiki no Mi Awakening
One of the awakening that debuted in Wano, Jiki Jiki no Mi is a very powerful Devil Fruit whose awakening takes its total fighting ability to a whole new level. In its base form, Jiki Jiki no Mi allows the user to control magnetic waves. Basically, the user becomes a magnet with their powers and can attract anything that magnets attract. However, when taken beyond that level into an awakened state, Jiki Jiki no Mi also allows the user to turn others into magnets.

This means that extremely strong magnetic forces can be controlled by the user, and enemies can be easily held back or even completely buried under debris. The awakening power of this Devil Fruit is so strong that it even worked on Big Mom, who had very strong Conqueror's Haki to cover herself.

Ope Ope no Mi Awakening
When it comes to the strongest Devil Fruit awakenings in One Piece, Ope Ope no Mi really ranks at the top. This devil fruit was eaten by Trafalgar Law, and its abilities in its basic form allow Law to create giant RUMs where he can manipulate almost anything, including the terrain.
Law can do things like teleport, or use surgical procedures on the enemies, like amputation or gamma radiation, among others, quite easily. In his awakened state, Law can create RUM in miniature and bypass all defenses of his enemies by coating his weapons in it. Law's awakening even allows him to create distant RUMs that envelop the enemies and then allow devastating attacks. Law's Shock Wille deals lethal internal damage that can penetrate any kind of defense, and attacks like Puncture Wille are even stronger and can create giant craters due to the massive firepower. It goes without saying that this Devil Fruit is one of the strongest when it comes to awakening.

When it comes to the strongest Devil Fruit Awakening that can even continue to destroy the world, the only Devil Fruit that reigns supreme Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika. This Devil Fruit, in its basic form, only imparts the rubber properties to the user's body. But when it is awakened, the true sun god arises. Luffy summons his Devil Fruit awakening Gear 5.
In this form, Luffy becomes the warrior of liberation, with incredible physical talent and, more importantly, the ability to turn his surroundings into rubber. Also, Luffy can create almost anything from his imagination as long as he can believe it is possible. There is nothing he cannot do in this form, and he essentially becomes the sun god. As has been mentioned in Harley himself, the Sun God possesses the ability to destroy the world, and that is what Luffy's Gear 5 represents. This awakening is truly an awakening that could destroy the entire world, and fans will get a good look at it later in the final saga.
